Rooftop Film Club has a 10-year track record of bringing communities together and transforming nights at the movies to cinematic events.

To help revive the local economy and provide much needed relief during these difficult times, we are bringing a contact-free drive-in cinema experience to life with three pillars at the core: safety, value and community.

We’ve reimagined our approach to ensure guests have a safe “awayfrom home” experience, from the security of their own vehicles.

At no point are people required to make physical contact with staff or other attendees. The experience can be delivered entirely without direct interaction, allowing guests to continue practicing current safety guidelines.

Due to COVID-19, most people have been impacted financially, resulting in lower take-home pay or losing their income altogether.

Our policies are sensitive to these changes in circumstances. With us, a family of five can enjoy a night out at the movies for just £22.50.

Value Proposition

• Tickets are priced per vehicle, not per person

• Our popcorn is priced at £3, compared to £5+ at a traditional movie experience

• While snacks and soft drinks will be available for purchase, we welcome people to bring their own supplies to keep costs down

• All tickets are fully refundable or exchangeable

• All NHS staff will be able to attend our screenings for free using their NHS email addresses, along with all our profits on launch night being donated to NHS Charities.

Dating back to 1933 when the world was recovering from economic turmoil, the drive-in is an American institution that was made for times of recovery.

Through the UK drive-in, we want to replicate this, help rebuild the community and bring people together, albeit safely, during the age of social distancing.

About UsRooftop Film Club started in London in 2011, and has since expanded globally to operate at over 50 venues across London, LA, New York, Houston and San Diego, with 20 additional permanent locations lined up by 2023.

Driven by the love of film, we are on a mission to put community and celebration back into cinema.

From rooftop cinemas, to award-winning drive-ins and underground theatres - entertaining people is what we do best.

Book With ConfidenceDue to the unique situation in which the country finds itself this year, the schedules outlined in this proposal are subject to change.

In order for our commercial partners to be able to book with confidence, we will not be asking for any upfront payments, but will invoice for all activity at the end of each month. Should any screenings have to be cancelled, the invoice for that month will be adjusted accordingly on a pro-rata basis.
