This unit plan shows proficient practice in both I-A-1.Subject Matter Knowledge and I-A- 4.Rigorous Standards-Based Unit Design. It shows how, in planning each of my units in all of my classes, I begin by identifying what I want students to be able to do by the end of the unit. Then I find ways to engage students with the material in all modes of the English language: reading, writing, speaking and listening. Different students struggle with different facets of the language so it is my responsibility to make sure that they work with the language in as many contexts as possible. Additionally, I make sure that I have various forms of formative and summative assessments throughout the unit in order to ensure that I am fairly assessing the students' progress in varied and authentic ways. This unit plan highlights the main activities and projects of the unit as well as the two summative assessments, showing how I design units of instruction with measurable outcomes and challenging tasks (I-A-3) and consistently engage students in learning experiences that enable them to acquire complex knowledge and skills (I-A-1). Example of student “Present Perfect Change Project”

Technology of phonesMy topic is Technology of phones. I chose it because in this time the technology of phones has increased a lot. Each month, comes out a different and competitive ones. Now it is important because it makes the life easier for us. Those smart phones have everything you want to have fun. And you also can make your works with these phones.

The phones used to be like those ones below. Before, telephones were very boring. You could only make calls and receive them. To catch signal, you had to get an antenna that the phone had. They had no entertainment whatsoever. At that time the phones were very expensive and not everyone could have one.

This would mean that phone users will look at menus from any angle, including from back phone. Also, maybe the users will load the phone with sunlight. Cell phones will cover the role of computers for their intelligence. I think this because the technology of phones improves
