Apple Aviation, located at the Aerohub Cornwall, is an independent CAA and EASA-approved MRO company undertaking line and base maintenance, AOG support and a range of technical services and asset management for airlines, manufacturers and lessors. The company also specialises in aircraft teardown and recycling. Aerotek Aviation Engineering in Poole, Dorset, is a leading global aerospace company dealing in the MRO of landing gear and related assemblies, aviation hydraulics, engineering repair of wheels, cadmium plating and spares supply.

A host of specialist companies provide unique and niche services. Amfax and SPHEREA Test & Services, both based in Dorset, offer specialist test solutions and solve technically complex challenges for customers including airlines, maintenance organisations, manufacturers and the military. The Bristow Group, which has a sight in Cornwall, provides industrial aviation services, including helicopter transportation, search and rescue and aircraft support services, to government and civil organisations worldwide. Vistair, based in Bristol, provides technologies and solutions to enable the aviation industry to deliver world-class levels of efficiency,

safety and compliance. It serves more than 40 airlines worldwide, including British Airways, easyJet, Delta, FlyBe, Monarch, Ryanair, Qantas, SAS and Virgin Atlantic.

In addition, the South West has highly experienced aerospace and aviation training providers to complement its universities and colleges.
