SUPPORT ACROSS THE LIFE-CYCLE Such an extensive aerospace and advanced manufacturing cluster provides many opportunities in the South West for companies offering support services, from maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) to engineering services and test services and training, facilitating total capability across the life-cycle. Aerotek Aviation Engineering in Poole, Dorset, is a leading global aerospace company dealing in the MRO of landing gear and related assemblies, aviation hydraulics, engineering repair of wheels, cadmium plating and spares supply.

Vistair, based in Bristol, provides technologies and solutions to enable the aviation industry to deliver world-class levels of efficiency,

In addition, the South West has highly experienced aerospace and aviation training providers to complement its universities and colleges. With 8,000 employees across 35 countries, CAE is one of the largest airline training providers. CAE, with a site in Cornwall, provides the most innovative full-flight simulators, offering advanced flight training technology for initial, recurrent type rating and specialty training.
