Transporter Staging Teams arriving prior to 3:00 pm on July 16, 2020 will be directed to a Transporter Staging area in the main parking area by track personnel.

Notifications Notice #1 Liftgates: For all events it is recommended that liftgates be in the closed position when not in use. When in use, place traffic cones around the parameter with a team member directing traffic as needed. All tractor trailers including the lift gate when open needs to be clear of fire lanes.

INTRODUCTION: Utah Motorsports Campus is a multipurpose event complex located 30 minutes west of downtown Salt Lake City. UMC can accommodate and host a wide variety of activities that include auto and motorcycle racing, kart racing, off-road racing, and rock crawling. In addition to motorsports, we have hosted birthday parties, corporate training, concerts, fun runs, educational events and much more. Our team will build a unique plan for any size occasion which can be hosted in a number of our suites, hospitality rooms or classrooms specifically customized to fit your needs. With Epic Catering, our own in-house catering business, we can provide you with a menu to fit both budget and dietary needs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. DIRECTIONS: From Salt Lake City Airport: Drive west on Interstate 80 for approximately 26.5 miles. Take Exit 99 (Highway 36) and drive approximately 3.2 miles. Turn right on Highway 138 and drive approximately 4.8 miles. Turn left on Sheep Lane and drive 0.7 miles.

DETAILED OVERVIEW

Full Course 4.486 mi (7.220 km) road circuit run counterclockwise, 23-turn 3500’ front stretch can see vehicles reaching speeds of 200 mph (321.9 km/h). Outer Course 3.048 miles (4.905 km) outer course that does not use the tighter infield lay-out, East and West Course 2.2 miles (3.5 km) layouts that each use half of the full course and can be run simultaneously. UMC Kart Center Course 0.89 miles (1.43 km). The main straight approaches 900 feet (270 m) in length and 30 feet (9.1 m) in width. The kart track has 8 different layouts, and also provides the opportunity to run two tracks simultaneously. Short Course Off Road Track 0.62 miles (0.98 km). The off road track includes a large table top jump on the back straight between turns 2 and 3, middle size table top between turns 3 and 4, and a rhythm section between turns 4 and 5. The track surface is a mixture of dry lake bed dirt, and a small amount of clay. Rock Crawling Section Is a 6-acre section that provides an area for those that want to experience rock crawling for the first time, off-roading groups, for tire companies to come out and test their products, or for off-roading competitions. This area contains a variety of challenges at all various grades, skill sets and surfaces.

West Paddock Flat asphalt section measuring 800 ft by 335 ft. This surface is idea for low speed automotive events such as drifting, autocross, driver education programs, car shows, and swap meets.

Midway Paddock 5-acre flat asphalt section similar to the West Paddock that is idea for low speed automotive events such as drifting, autocross, driver education programs, car shows and swap meets.

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING: UMC shall erect, at various locations in the paddocks, several collection facilities for used fluids and waste materials. Participants are required to make use of these for all waste materials. Spills of damage causing fluids such as oils, hydraulic and brake fluids and gasoline, etc. may occur. All spills must be treated immediately and UMC management must be advised of all spills.

UMC FACILITY – PADDOCK - RV & CAMPING RULES:

General Information

• No outside food or alcohol is permitted on premises.

• Outside catering orders ARE NOT permitted. All catering orders can be arranged through the UMC Events team at [email protected].

• All guests & vehicles MUST have a valid pass to enter facility.

• Lunch Box coolers are permitted, may not contain glass, or outside alcohol. Coolers must be personal size, no rollers and must fit under seat in bleachers and are subject to search. No large or family size coolers are permitted.

• Bagged ice can be purchased at Full Throttle Café (Kart Center)

• Tent weights can be rented at Guest Services prior to or day of event.

• Guests may move into their garage/RV area after 6:30 pm the day prior to the event IF arrangements were made with the Leasing Office at (435)249-7159. All guests must exit garages, camping & RV spaces by 6:00 pm on the last day of the reservation.

• Guests arriving one day prior to the scheduled load-in day will stage in designated area, until specified load-in time. Arrival one or more days prior to scheduled load-in, will be directed to long term parking until the day load-in day.

• Guests may exit and enter the gates as necessary provided all people in the car have their handstamps or wristbands upon re-entry and vehicles have the proper credentials.

• RV & camping sites are designated by space numbers, guests may ONLY park in their purchased space.

• Guests may only use assigned electrical outlets once purchased.

• Electrical cord or Water hose MAY NOT cross through other spaces or across any driving lane.

• Guests are responsible for removing all personal property when leaving the facility and for removing all trash from their space before moving out; otherwise, UMC will charge $50 to the credit card on file.

• Guests are responsible for properly securing all personal property while at the facility; UMC is not responsible for lost or stolen property. Lost and found is located at the Guest Services office by the main gate. Call Guest Services at (435)277-8542

• UMC reserves the right to tow any vehicle at owner’s expense if improperly parked on site.

• Absolutely NO enclosures, that prohibit an individual from leaving a specific area(s) at any given time. All designated entry/exit points must be identified, and the space must be easily accessible and conform with all ADA and Fire Safety rules and regulations.

• No open flames or fire pits. Barbeque grills are permissible but may not be left unattended while in use.

• UTV, golf carts, bicycles, etc. maybe used, however, they are not allowed in the restricted areas or near the Off-Road Short course and must be parked where instructed by UMC staff.

• Outside of the kart track, all drivers of motorized vehicles must have a valid license. Children and young adults of ANY kind without a license may not drive any motorized vehicle on the property.

• A curfew/noise ordinance will be enforced at the facility from 10pm – 7am daily.

• NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. No glass containers.

• No drones of any kind.

• Showers are located onsite at Café Moab building and next to Fast Track Café.

• Pets are allowed in the camping area but must be leashed always. Owners must clean up after their animals.

• All vehicles must obey facility speed limit of 15 mph.

• No tire disposal – all guest must take tires with them when they leave the track.

• Guests are never allowed to access the racetrack or any other unauthorized areas on the property.

• Children and young adults under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult always.

• Failure to follow UMC rules will result in immediate ejection from our facility.

• Enter through the MAIN GATE to access spaces. • Tent camping is ONLY allowed in designated tent camping area. • Up to 4 occupants/1 tent is allowed per tent space. VEHICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE GRASS. • Any additional vehicles must park in GA parking outside the main gate.

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE RACETRACK

Facility Access: Waiver Policy. All persons entering Utah Motorsports Campus (“UMC”) property (the “Facility”) are required to sign appropriate UMC or Sanctioning Body Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement Forms. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Minors: All minors must always be under the direct supervision of an adult. No minor will be permitted to drive any motorized vehicle unsupervised on the property.

Pets: All pets must be kept on a leash or within a confined space (car, RV, transporter area, etc.,) and all pet waste must be removed and properly disposed of.

VEHICLE USE OF THE TRACK AND PADDOCK AREAS Unauthorized Use of the Track(s). Only authorized vehicles will be allowed to go on the UMC courses. Drivers and passengers must be participants in a formal track activity authorized by UMC, have signed the appropriate waivers, have paid the appropriate use fees or have received specific authority from UMC management before accessing any road course. Unauthorized driving on the road courses shall be considered grounds for removal of the driver and vehicle from the Facility and the imposition of a ban of future access to the Facility. Access to the track for persons walking or riding bicycles may be permitted at certain times as determined by UMC management and then only when no other track activities are taking place.

Unauthorized Use of the Paddock: Garage renters and others with special access to the Facility may not park on the paddock at any time unless as a participant in an event where they have paid to park.

Use of Garages: All rules within section must be followed in relation to the garages, including no refueling of vehicles within the garage walls.

Signage: All signage must be approved in writing by UMC. Any signage must conform to aesthetic and other specifications required by UMC.

Track Direction: Driving counter-track direction is forbidden always. All road courses and pit lanes must be used only in a counter-clockwise direction (Exception – The kart track, which must be used only in the direction posted).

Paddock Speed Limits: The Speed Limit for all vehicles in any paddock area is 15 miles per hour. Fines will be levied against anyone who is deemed to be driving or riding any vehicle in an unsafe manner or at a speed considered by UMC to be more than the speed limit. Pit Lane Speed Limits: A speed limit is always imposed for all vehicles in the pit lanes. Unless otherwise approved by UMC, the speed limit is 35 miles per hour. Fines shall be imposed for any transgression of this rule. ATV’s and Other Paddock Vehicles: The use of unlicensed vehicles such as mini-bikes, golf carts, scooters, four- wheelers and dirt bikes shall be restricted to their use as service vehicles for competitors and shall be used only in the paddock area and on paved surfaces and only during event hours. Only licensed drivers/riders shall use such vehicles. Children are specifically prohibited from using such vehicles in the paddock or on any of the general or public access areas. UMC, reserves the right to further restrict the use of these vehicles if, in the sole discretion of UMC such use is a danger or annoyance to other persons.

User Fees: UMC reserves the right to charge a use fee for such vehicles.

Driving/Riding While Impaired: No vehicles shall be driven or ridden on any UMC property by any person who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. UMC reserves the right to remove any person who is violation of this rule from the Facility for the duration of the event and to forbid such person’s attendance at future events.

Sound Limits: UMC retains the right to impose noise restrictions on participating cars, motorcycles and karts. While no specific noise restrictions are to be enforced without UMC’s written notice. UMC may at any time and at its sole discretion, choose to impose a noise control system.

BEHAVIOR Use of Alcohol: All State, County and other regulatory liquor laws and regulations will apply. No alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the pit or paddock areas until 30 minutes after the end of the final event or track activity of each day.

Substance Abuse: No use of controlled substances is permitted at Utah Motorsports Campus. Anyone found using controlled substances illegally, or who appears to be under the influence of alcohol while using any of the UMC facilities, will be summarily removed from the Facility.

Fireworks and Weapons: No fireworks, firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted anywhere on the Facility premises.

Noise in the Paddock: No loud music or boom-boxes are permitted. Paddock quiet times must be respected (10:00 pm to 6:00 am).

Engine Noise Time Limits: No race engines may be run before 7:00 am or after 9:00 pm.

Quiet Periods: UMC may require that a quiet period (no race engines) be maintained (for example during church services). Notice of quiet periods will be posted on the UMC website and on the paddock, notice boards.

DAMAGE TO UMC PROPERTY Damage to UMC Property: Anyone who causes damage to UMC property, including equipment, buildings, vehicles, fences, safety systems, grass and landscaped areas will be held responsible for all costs relating to replacement or repair. Damage to Paved Surfaces: No holes or any other damage may be caused to any paved surfaces. Tents and canopies must be held down by weights as no tent pegs of any kind are allowed. Flat bocks or wood squares should be used to absorb weight beneath any equipment that may cause damage to the surface, such as trailer legs, jack stands, and kart stands.

No Painting or Markings on Paved Surfaces: Under no circumstances is it permissible to paint, mark or otherwise deface any portion of any paved surface, and specifically any race surface, including the track, curbs, verges or pit lanes. This expressly includes markings on the surface intended to provide guide points to braking, turning or other driving situations.

No Signs, Decals or Notices: No decals, signs, painting, marking or advertising of any kind are permitted to be placed on the premises at any time without the prior written consent of UMC.

Signage Code: UMC will strictly enforce a Signage Code which will require that any signs posted (only with UMC approval) must meet quality and aesthetic standards (no handwritten signs). Only the UMC approved Official Signage Contractor will be allowed to make and erect sponsor or similar signs on site.

Signage and Decals: No UMC signage or advertising displays shall be defaced in any way, nor be removed or covered over.

SAFETY, PUBLIC HEALTH AND HAZARDOUS MATERIAL CONTROLS UMC will enforce strict compliance with rules relating to waste and hazardous materials, their containment and actions required to recover, or repair surfaces affected by any spills.

Waste Products: UMC shall erect, at various locations in the paddocks, several collection facilities for used fluids and waste materials. Participants are required to make use of these for all waste material and fluid disposal, using the appropriate receptacles (as identified on each drum).

Hazardous Material Control: Spills of damage causing fluids such as oils, hydraulic and brake fluids, gasoline, anti- freeze, battery acid, etc., may occur and can cause significant damage to paved and grass surfaces and the environment as well as creating dangerous situations for track users and other participants. All spills must be treated immediately on occurrence. UMC management must immediately be advised of all spills.

Trash and Waste Disposal: All trash shall be deposited in trash containers. UMC reserves the right to set fees for the disposal of any items left at the track that must be disposed of by a disposal company, including items such as used tires, batteries, fuel barrels, etc. Do not place any petroleum products in trash containers.

Combustible Materials: All oxygen, acetylene, propane and other pressurized cylinders with combustible gas must be securely fastened to a carrier. Fences: No climbing on any fence. Fence enclosures are prohibited.

Fire Extinguishers: Each competitor must have at least one (1) portable dry chemical fire extinguisher with a rating of at least 12BC available and in good working condition in the competitor’s pit and/or paddock area.

Guest Services: The facility will be open for participant access on a 24-hr basis, through defined gates and by event or UMC credential.
