  • 1. Hazar Samerinfo@alkoununiverse.comwww.alkoununiverse.comThe Responsibilityof ToleranceThe responsibility of tolerance lies with those who have the widervision. George EliotIn this universe there are more than 193 countries with different cul-tures,traditions and religions. The question is how we can create peace from this cultural variationinstead of a conflict?Perhaps the easiest way to do this that we dont actually think about butthat has a really close relation with cultural conflict is the role of celebri-ties.Though there are moral and ideological differences between peopleall over the world, when it comes to a famous international celebrity youcan observe that people from all over the world follow his or her newswithout stopping to think that maybe their ideology doesnt allow themto like him or her.Celebrities are playing a really important role in bringing people from allover the world together. The production of international films and TVprograms made it easier for people to know each other better and tochange their false perceptions about a certain culture. One example nowadays is Arabic TV serials. Although political conflictsare taking place in the most of the Arabic countries, when it comes to amovie or a TV program you will find all Arab citizens are watching thesame TV shows without thinking of the conflicts that are taking place inall over the Arab world. Turkish, Mexican and Malaysian serials foundsuccess in the Arab world. In Europe most people watch and followAmerican programs. In conclusion, people are able to have a wider vision to the world in aneasy way and people can be tolerant when it comes to humanity. Maybewe all have diverse opinions on politics, culture and religion so we canbe open to all cultures in this world.Be open, tolerant, live your life and be happy because it shorter thanyou may think. Spend your life with happiness, openness and success anddont ever try to be intolerant.I will use this opportunity to say congratulations to the beautiful Germanbrides in this Issue that celebrated their weddings in Germany!2 3

Shakira and Rihanna togetherAttention all male singers. If youre hoping to starin a music video with Shakira one day, well, youreout of luck.It seems the Colombian cuties boyfriend, soccerstar Gerard Piqu, doesnt exactly like the idea ofhis lady appearing on camera with the oppositesex.Hes very territorial, and since he no longer letsme do videos with men, well, I have to do themwith women, Shakira tells Billboard.Which probably explains, in part, why the Voicecoach wound up collaborating with Rihanna on thetune, Cant Remember to Forget You. (Not tomention, the somewhat steamy video for the song, which finds the two women caressing each other.)Its more than implied in our relationship that Icant do videos like I used to. Its out of the questionwhich I like, by the way, Shakira adds. I like thathe protects his turf and he values me, in a way thatthe only person he would ever let graze my thighwould be Rihanna. And clearly Shakira had no problem working withthe Barbadian beauty.Shes the sexiest woman on the planet, the HipsDont Lie star told Glamour.
