Not only does the supervisor need specific technical skills, they must also be skilled at planning, scheduling, estimation, logistics and project management. They must also be able to communicate, lead and develop people, maintain harmony and efficiency, while maintaining safety on the worksite. This workshop series focuses on the development of management, supervisory and technical skills required to supervise construction projects effectively. Who should attend This course has been designed for workers involved in the construction and maintenance of civil infrastructure. Typical attendees include: Overseers Supervisors Leading Hands/Gangers Inspectors Technical Graduates Project Managers Contractors Outcomes Participants will be proved with a Certificate of Attendance for each stage of this program. This course provides the underpinning knowledge for units of competency within the RII40715 Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision. Participants wishing to complete this qualification will be required to demonstrate the requisite knowledge and skills with an RTO with this unit on their scope of registration. IPWEAQ can assist in this process. Facilitators The program will be facilitated by content matter experts in each topic.
