Merchandisers should be recruited upon the consideration of their 1) Product knowledge, (2) market knowledge, (3) past performance, (4) communication, (5) Merchandising skills

Merchandisers Monitoring:Continuous monitoring, alerting and rewarding will lead to improvement of execution. It will lead us to the answer of…. What we want to be…. and where we really are?

Territory 2: Bonosri, Rampura, Malibag, Banglamotor, Iskaton, Mogbazar. (Deshi super Shop, Big bazaar, shopno,Meena Bazar, Agora)

Territory Rotation: For actual performance measurement & fault prevention, merchandiser’s assigned territory could be routed to observe the performance difference.

Dashboard:

A dashboard will be maintained, which will contain the specific days movement rout & activity area of every single Merchandiser. It will help to locate & monitor them & also to measure their daily activity & performances.

Routing: Each & every territory will be assigned to an individual merchandiser & the visiting route will be guided by the coordinator. Routing will look alike:

Direct Mobile Communication:As per the company policy they are given individual cell numbers. Merchandiser’s coordinator will continuously update & monitor the present conditions of every single merchandiser. It will be performed according to the assigned tasks & activities.

SMS Update:

Merchandisers will make his/her coordinator know about his activities by updating the visiting status of Individual Super Shop by SMS.

GPS Tracking: The in house Merchandisers tracker will track their operating area activity by GPS tracking & report it to the coordinator.

Activity Checklist:Assigning activity checklist depending on previous submitted report can make the performance & service review easy to coordinate them.

Problem Lining: Finding out the top five problem by their report & give them specific timeline to resolve that, can increase their operation effectiveness.

Evaluating, Re-evaluating and Control:

Performance evaluation & timely re- evolution can be used as a well measure to control the Merchandisers. Expected work standard & actual outcomes from their service could neutralize on a single line by proper control

Social media tool or Real Picture: If the Merchandiser is capable of sending real instant picture using social media tools like

Viber or what’s up, it would be real easy to resolve the problems instantly. Otherwise they could be asked to click the real scenario & show it while reporting.

Weekly Meeting: Weekly performance meeting, problem discussion & support activity can motivate them to achieve the targeted service standard. It will also help us to know the real market conditions, opportunities & obstacles. It will also increase the Merchandisers positive mind set to their responsibilities & habit of answering to their superiors.

It will project the real picture of any specific Super Shop.It will be well structured & in written format, which can represent the odds & other problems in a straight view. It will also work as a Provence of any specific merchandiser’s activity.

In Store Audit System: Establishing an in store audit system is not too tough. Implementing an intelligent in-store audit system can lead to significant improvement in important KPIs and in this way influence the actual sales.

Continuous supervision:A positive attitude & continuous supervision will drive them towered market success & work motivated.It will increase the effectiveness of command lines & monitoring system will work perfectly.
