My Role: Manage a cross functional team to create a new interface along with building new functionality into the existing application
Business Profile Redesign
Six Significant Differences:
1. Left hand rail: Links to the SuperGuarantee® program and other helpful pages.
2. Business information (Rolodex): Basic information about what the business offers
3. Map: Improved maps that display the businesses location
4. Tabs: Info, SuperGuarantee®, Reviews, Images –Tabbed information to organize Reviews, Images, and more easily.
5. What’s Nearby: Nearby businesses whose primary line of business compliments the profile displayed (for instance, a pizza place that appears on a video rental profile)
6. Search Nearby: Popular categories that when clicked will display results close by
Q. Why Did We Change The Business Profile’s Design/Layout?
To improve user navigation and increase leads to our clients
To manage the amount of content we are collecting on local businesses and make that content easy to find and navigate
To introduce items on the page that will increase revenue
Q: What Are The Benefits To A Client (Advertiser)?
By making our Web site user friendly, a client’s advertising is likely to be more effective, which results in more satisfied clients.
When clients provide more content on their Business Profile, they can improve the value of their listing/ business profile to a consumer.
