•Art.8 of the activities of the ANP paragraph XI - "organize and maintain the collection of

information and technical data relating to the regulated activities of the oil, natural gas and

biofuels industry.

•Art. 15. ANP's revenues are: V - the proceeds of the fees, fees and fines provided for in the specific

legislation, the amounts established in the sale or lease of the movable and immovable property owned

by them, as well as those arising from the sale of technical data and information, including for

bidding purposes, those referred to in § 2 of art. 22 of this Law.

•Article 22. The technical collection consisting of data and information on Brazilian sedimentary basins

is also considered an integral part of the national petroleum resources, and ANP is responsible for its

collection, maintenance and administration.

BDEP – Exploration and Production Database

Center. It is a part of SDT and today operates

at CPRM facilities in Urca – Rio de Janeiro.

The ANP enter in BDEP administration in 2005 with the

first selection contest for civil servants.

SDT – on the way to digital transformation

✓ANP Resolution No. 757/2018, published on end of 2018, unified two other resolutions and simplified the rules for datacollection and access to public data (2018);

✓Development of the Environmental Database (started in 2018);

✓Environmental Monitoring Project through Remote Sensing – MultiSar (started in 2018);

✓Acquisition of high-capacity storage equipment (Tape Library) (2018/19);

✓New Accession Term to BDEP - Lower cost of access to public data (February 2019);

✓Geo-referenced Information Portal (April 2019) – GEOANP;

✓Simplification of data formatting standards (Seismic, Rock Samples) - (middle 2019);

✓New Digital Data Management Software (to substitute Petrobank) – (forecast for October 2019);

✓Custody of Rock and Fluids samples through an agreement between the Geological Service of Brazil (CPRM) and the ANP(2019/20);✓SDT has 25 public workers (servants), 30 contracted employees and raised R$ 28,494,434.22 (US$ 7,125,000.00) in 2018.

CPRM (Brazilian Geolocial Survey) X ANP Agreement.CPRM will manage the physical samples (public);ANP will manage the digital data and results;

3 rock samples storehouses to store government public samples. Operation and Maintenance paid with ANP resources.The main one in Rio de Janeiro associated with laboratory infrastructure, and deposit of pre-salt samples.

CPRM and Universities will Operate Projects, directed to Research, Development and Innovation (R & D) originated from the clauses of 1% of oil and gas production contracts.

-46% of samples in Rio de Janeiro-RJ.-48% of samples in Catu-BA.-6% of samples in Manaus-AM.

Rock Samples Center in Rio de Janeiro - Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Technology Park. Building already built. Start of Operation in October 2019.

High availability of public data:

Acquisition of a Tape Library with high capacity of datastorage 38 PB expandable to more than 100 PB,(Hermes).

Acquisition of more than 1 PB of Storage (HD/SSD disks).

Management of Data Pools with System IBM SpectrumScale and Spectrum Arquive, turning everything into asingle disc.

Acquisition of IBM 3592 TS1155 and TS1160 Tape Drives(15/20TB without compression).

All data online (in tape library).New data management.Public data will be mirrored in the cloud.

Public Data in Private Cloud:

Only Public Data in Cloud, the Confidential Data StillStored in ANP Internal Infra.

A Data Link will Connect the Private Cloud Building andBDEP Building.

Public Data Will be Syncronized Between BDEP andCloud. (The Technical Data Solution Like Petrobank Needto Facilitate This).

External Users Will Download Public Data Direct by Cloudwith Users and Access Plans Controls.
