The tunable wavelength option consists of a specialgradient filter that lets you select any wavelengthfrom 400 to 700 nm in 1-nm steps. The specialgradient filter is made of high-quality opticalmaterial, ensuring excellent transmission charac-teristics.

This feature together with Magellan softwaregives you the capability of wavelength scanningwith high flexi bility for a wide range of applica-tions.

The Sunrise has an advanced temperature controlunit which distributes temperature evenly andover the entire microplate. A sophisticated seriesof tubes regulates and distributes the airflowbelow the microplate according to the position ofthe well. The Peltier based temperature controlelement can even cool down the airflow to main-tain room temperature in the wells. An additionalheating element above the plate keeps evapora-tion to an absolute minimum. The componentsare embedded in precision molded foam polymerto protect against mechanical stress and to ensu-re stable temperatures. The advanced temperature
