At its meeting on 9 March 2010, Council adopted its draft Annual Plan 2010/11 and draft amendment to its Long-Term Council Community Plan 2009 - 2019 for the purpose of public consultation. This draft plan has been prepared in accordance with the Local Government Act 2002.

The draft plan will be open for public submissions from Monday, 22 March to close of business on Friday, 23 April 2010. Submissions are invited from any individual, organisation or group.

The plan comes in two parts:

40 hours per week; (Sun, Mon, Tues 10.30pm - 8.30am) 30 hours per week; (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat 10.30pm - 8.30am)

Senior Care Worker – CYF3636 You will oversee the behaviour change programme in the home and manage administration and staff. 40 hours per week; Tues – Sat 2.30pm – 11pm.

We are also seeking applications for casual senior care workers to cover absences on an as and when required basis. Please clarify in your application if you wish to apply for a casual role.

Team Leader – CYF3641 Your role is to lead, manage and support the staff in the home, manage the budget, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure the programme is run in accordance with policies and procedures. You will need to have strong leadership skills, be a great communicator and have experience in data and financial management. 40 hours per week; Mon and Fri 7am – 3.30pm / Tues, Wed, Thurs 9.30am – 6pm.

Night Assistant – CYF3639 You will provide support to the Night Time Care Workers. The Night Assistant will be provided with a bed and may sleep with the expectation that they will wake and be available when needed. Hours of work are 10.30pm to 7.30am.

Family Engagement Worker – CYF3640 You will work closely with the families of young people on the programme, supporting them to work alongside their children and ease their transition back into the community. Ideally, you will have a tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, family therapy or other related fields and experience in providing parenting education. Hours to be negotiated.
