Sometimes people use glasses or magnifying glasses to help them see better.

It’s fun to play “I Spy” with 1 or more friends. One person says: “I spy something that is a certain color. Your friends have to guess what object you are thinking about. Take turns giving clues and guessing.

We have 2 ears and we use them to hear.

We have 1 nose and we use it to smell.

We have 1 tongue and we use it to taste.

We have hands 2, 2 feet and our skin. We use them to touch and

feel things.

We might hear sounds that are: loud, soft, noisy or quiet.

A fun game to play is “Noise Hide and

Seek.”One person counts to 10 while their friends

go and hide with a bell, whistle or something

that makes noise. The “seeker” must use their ears to listen closely to the sounds his or her

friends are making and find them.

We might smell things that are: sweet, sour, stinky or fruity.

We might taste things that are: sweet, sour, salty and bitter.

Try making scented play dough by kool-aid instead of food adding coloring.

Yumm…. It smells so good! Don’t eat it

though!

.

Play “Guess the taste” with your friend. One person closes their eyes and tries to

guess the name of the food and if it’s sweet, sour, salty or bitter.

We might feel things that are: hard, soft, smooth, rough,

cold or wet.

Play “Feel and Guess the item.” Have someone put

some items in a bag for you.

Without looking, see if you can

guess what they are by how they feel. Does each item feel smooth, rough, hard, soft,

wet or cold?
