LOCAL INFORMATION

Clara Vale is a popular commuter village situated on the south bank of the River Tyne near Wylam that has retained its rural character being surrounded by farms, open countryside and a local nature reserve. The village has a village hall, a recreation ground and several local golf courses while nearby Wylam and Ryton offer excellent local shops, services and transport links. Bradley Gardens is close by with excellent café and garden centre, as is the renowned Close House Golf Course. For schooling, Wylam has a First School, while Middle Schools are available in Ovingham, Prudhoe and Hexham.
