A “Thank You” to my wonderful church family, who
have come to my rescue once again, bringing gifts of food,
cards, phone calls and love.
Best of all, the comfort of your prayers that I knew came
from the Holy Spirit, that uplifted me more than ever. What
an awesome God we serve! (Psalm 116: 1-19)

Do you remember when The Jesus Film was first released? I do, and that was 35 years ago. As a young Christian, I would think what a mighty tool is was to reach lost people. Little did I conceive of the far-reaching effect that electronic tools and devices would give it in our day and age. Here are three short stories shared by supported missionaries that illustrate the effect of this ministry tool:
A story to cause rejoicing: A mission leader was waiting for a flight at a major airport. He couldn’t help but notice hundreds of white-robed people on a pilgrimage to their sacred city. Using a new digital 35device, he broadcast a Bluetooth® invitation to download segments of JESUS. In just one hour 41 people had connected. He rejoiced as all around him pilgrims were watching JESUS in their heart language. So far, this mission leader has sent 700 people the Jesus Film Media™ clips hoping to give away 1,000 in a 12 month period. Far-Reaching Impact While on a flight to Austin, TX, a member of our JESUS film Production team shared the Jesus Film Media™ app with the man sitting next to him. The man reacted with great excitement, saying: I recall watching the original JESUS film as a child as far back as my memory can serve me. The movie had a profound effect on my life, as at the time it was the only Christian cinematic material available to us in the Middle East, and it was translated into Arabic. I can nearly recite the movie line by line, as I have watched so many times due to the feeling of hope it delivered to a Christian living in that part of the world. I want to thank the team, cast and crew and anyone involved in the making or production of this movie, as it had a far-reaching impact on many people in the Middle East.
“JESUS” at the Bar (Asia) They planned to spend the evening drinking their worries away. How surprised they must have felt to see a film screen set up in the bar—and even more surprised when the JESUS film began. They watched the film, drinks in hand. Despite the drinking and rowdiness of the atmosphere, the film team gave a challenge to follow Christ after the film ended. Fourteen young men came forward to give their lives to Christ. The next day all 14 came to the follow-up session, where they
gained assurance for their decision. Six of the young men later joined the film team and now show JESUS in other communities. The next time you see your children and grandchildren talking and texting on iphones, etc., think to yourself “I know what those devices are really for.” That’s right, they are a tool in the hands of spirit-filled people to spread the gospel. I propose that we all get our children’s and grandchildren’s cell numbers and start sending out messages that will really bring life and living water to our next generations. YLCC has supported missionaries that produce and distribute The Jesus Film and other electronic media for over fifteen
years, that I know of. YLCC shares a part of this outreach with our mission dollars. Here is a link that we are welcome to use and share. Over 1400 languages are available for The Jesus Film. http://www.jesusfilm.org/ http://www.jesusfilm.org/film-and-media/statistics/languages-completed

By Sharon Sylvester In the Bible, Israel is the focal point of numerous
prophecies about the end times. In fact, based on Jesus’ teaching, we can consider Israel the “super sign” that the last days are imminent. In Target Israel, authors Tim LaHaye and Ed Hindson explore what’s happening in the Middle East today and why it’s so significant to all of us. You will read about why Israel’s existence is a true miracle of God, why Israel is at the center of so much controversy in the Middle East, why the march to Armageddon has already begun, God’s eternal plans for both the Jewish people and Christians, and what to expect at the rapture, the second coming, and in Jesus’ kingdom on earth. This book even includes sections listing key events in the history of modern day Israel and frequently asked questions about Israel and the End Times. Written in 2015 this book is current, interesting, and informative.
In Agents of Babylon, Dr. David Jeremiah explores
the prophecies, dreams, and visions outlined in the book of Daniel, explains what they mean, and shows us how they apply to our world today so we can better prepare for what is to come. It is written in an engaging half dramatization, half Bible teaching format that not only offers an in depth exploration of the characters and prophecies contained in the book of Daniel, but also includes a dramatic retelling of Scripture that brings ancient prophecy to light. It places the reader back in time with Daniel, teaches the scriptures, and does both in an easy to understand flow that leaves the reader desiring to learn more about what the prophecies of Daniel tell us about the End of Days.
While the first two books deal with prophecy, Joel
Rosenberg’s latest fictional novel, The First Hostage, deals with the realities of current events in the Mideast. J.B. Collins, reporting from the scene of a devastating attack by ISIS terrorists on an Arab-Israeli peace summit in Amman, puts the entire world on high alert. Israeli and Palestinian leaders are critically injured. Jordan’s king is fighting for the very existence of his kingdom. And the U.S. President is missing and presumed captured. Can the leader of the free world be rescued before the leaders of ISIS commit genocide to usher in what they believe will be the global reign of their Islamic messiah? This is an exciting, fast paced work that will keep you turning page after page until it is finished.
There are so many wonderful books and DVDs in your
library. Feel free to browse anytime the main sanctuary building is open. Write your name on the card and place it in the box on the windowsill. Enjoy!

2016 SPRING TEA
“Breaking Chains”
Saturday, April 16, 11:30-1:30
Sign-ups begin March 20th
You are cordially invited as our guest to attend the Spring Tea. Enjoy a delicious luncheon and then journey with us as we hear stories of transformation & breaking chains that only our Savior can do. Kairos is Greek for God's perfect time. Our speaker, Holly Hill-man, goes into local prisons where she & other volunteers camp out for 3 1/2 days to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. During their journey, they have witnessed ladies breaking chains & experiencing life transformations as God takes these ladies from hopelessness to embracing Christ with their whole being.
College Scholarship Fund This year’s Tea will again raise money for the College Scholarship
Fund. Last year the goal was $500 & Praise God, the ladies donated
$500 exactly providing (2) $250 scholarships, to one young lady at
each high school (Yosemite & Minarets). Our God is so BIG, we are
prayerfully upping this year’s goal to $1000. Donations are tax de-
ductible by making checks payable to YLCC (in memo, write Wom-
en’s Ministry Scholarship Fund). Our Mission
Spiritual Growth: Spend time in God’s word, prioritizing time for prayer and worship.
Service: Encourage women to identify and serve within their spiritual gifts.
Fellowship: Host events that draw women closer to the Heart of God and His Amazing Plan for our daily lives.

Our February meeting was fantastic! Sparkling cider champagne flutes, chocolates and lollipop hearts were just a few of the
sweets set up to greet each momma. We had a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other just a little better with a quick
game of “Speed Dating!” Carol from La Sierra Guild informed us of the purpose of the guild and all the wonderful guilds in the
area that exist to support Valley Children’s Hospital. We closed our meeting with an opportunity to craft custom Valentine’s
Day cards for all of our many loved ones. As always, our kiddoes thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our lovely Moppets
and all of their friends!
We’re gearing up to help at the Community Baby Shower on March 12, 9am-12pm at the Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church. This
is a free event for all pregnant mothers and families of children ages 5 and under. Personal shoppers will assist the families in
picking out needed items like baby and toddler clothing, gear and toys! We will be hosting a spa to pamper our local moms and
we look forward to meeting each one! There will be many resource booths available for the attending families.
Please find us on Facebook to check our calendar of events. From mom’s night out to play dates, we’ve always got something
fun planned!
About MOPS
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program that strives to nurture every mother who has children from infancy
through kindergarten. These years are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. At MOPS,
women come together to share this important season of life. It is an open, caring and accepting atmosphere and exists to meet
the needs of every mom -- urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms
-- moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be. You do not have to be a
"church-goer" or from a specific denomination to join us. MOPS is a place where moms can come to be encouraged and
supported by other moms who are in the very same season of life...and best of all to make great friends!
MOPS meets on the west side of the Yosemite Lakes Community Church sanctuary from 9am-11:30am on the following dates:
March 16, April 20, May 18.
Please join us! There is free childcare and breakfast is provided

NURSERY NEWS
We had a wonderful time celebrating God's LOVE this last month. First, I made two big hearts stating "God's Helping Hands." I traced each child's handprint and they colored them. Come by and take a look, they are hanging on the Nursery door.
On Valentine's Day we colored and glued a pic-
ture of Jesus in the middle of a heart that stated they each had Jesus living in their heart. Each child took home a valentine, thanks to Lora Toles who donated the valen-tines. I also want to thank Lora for taking pictures weekly and putting them in a photo album. We will be celebrating God's LOVE the rest of this month. Thank you to everyone who volunteers in the Nursery. YOU are LOVED and appreciated!

We are having a great time after school! We
continue to support academics learned at school through
exciting, hands on and fun games. Some of
our favorites are flyswatter races for
spelling and sight words, “roll & choose”
where the kids roll dice then decide
whether to add or subtract (1-2grade) or
multiply or divide (3rd grade & up) to clear
their bingo board, and all grades love tic
tac toe math.
With a full load of kids enrolled
and a full staff of teachers, we are excited to offer the
opportunity for the kids to experience in depth extra-
curricular enrichment. Last month we offered wood
working, cross stitching and drama. Each “class” runs three
weeks for an hour each time on Fridays. The kids sign up for
the one they most want to participate in and each Friday
attend that class.
KIC AFTER SCHOOL
Our kids love this! They are able to really take their
time and build each week on what they learned the week
before allowing them to really engage in their enrichment

We are using the stage in the KIC building each day
for Bible Time which allows us to offer more games, skits
and puppet shows to expand the kids understanding of the
Bible lesson. Last month we learned that God is always with
us, we played a fun toilet paper wrapping
game and some of the kids performed a skit
acting out real life situations and how God
is with us through them. We also learned
about the difference between intellect and
wisdom, the ways in which God gives us
wisdom and traded
wisdom with each
other! As Easter is
approaching we are
moving on to
forgiveness of sin and
the new life we have in Jesus.

Easter is coming quickly, which means our missionary team is getting ready to head south of the border to Mexico! We are very excited this year, as Rancho will be opening a second church campus, with their grand opening on Easter that our team will be able to be a big part of. Please join us with your support in prayer. If you would like to support our team financially, donations can be sent to YLCC Re-bellion Youth missions/Mexico.
We had the incredible opportunity
to hear some powerful spirit filled worship and some great WORD at a Jesus Culture Conference in Sacramento. We took 25 students and Leaders for a Jesus encounter! Thank You Lord for always being so good!!
This is a shout out to all of the youth workers in the mountain community and the amazing student leadership that represents Dignity, Honor, Teamwork, Excellence and Serving. Your work will not go unno-ticed in this life or the life to come. What we do in this life echoes into eternity!!
