As you meditate on these
passages of Scripture, Ask, “is there:”
· a sin I should avoid?
· a promise I can claim?
· a command to obey?
· a blessing I can enjoy?
· a failure from which I can learn?
· a victory for me to win?
· a thought about God, the Lord
Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Satan, man?
· a truth in this passage that has
greatly affected me?

Why should Christians use tracts? Simply because God uses them. That factalone should be enough incentive for a Christian to always use tracts to reach thelost, but there are even more reasons why we should use them. Here are a few:
Tracts can provide an opening for us to share our faith. We can watch people’s reac-
tion as we give them a tract, and see if they are open to listening to spiritual things.
Tracts can do the witnessing for us. If we are too timid to speak to others about thethings of God, we can at least give them a tract, or leave one lying around so thatsomeone will pick it up.
Tracts speak to the individuals when they are ready; people don’t read it until theywant to. Tracts can find their way into people’s homes when we can’t. Tracts don’tget into arguments; they just state their case.
Oswald J. Smith said, “The only way to carry out the Great Commission will be bythe means of the printed page.” Charles Spurgeon stated, “When preaching andprivate talk are not available, you need to have a tract ready. . . Get good strikingtracts, or none at all. But a touching gospel tract may be the seed of eternal life. Therefore, do not go out without your tracts.”

Easter Sunday’s Message...
HOW TO BE SAVED AND KNOW IT!- Presented simply & clearly from God’s Word, the Bible -
DROSS REMOVALIf God sets out to make you an unusual Christian He is not likely
to be as gentle as He is usually pictured by the popular teachers. A
sculptor does not use a manicure set to reduce the rude, unshapely
marble to a thing of beauty. The saw, the hammer and the chisel
are cruel tools, but without them the rough stone must remain
forever formless and unbeautiful. To do His supreme work of
grace within you He will take from your heart everything you love
most. Everything you trust in will go from you. Piles of ashes will
lie where your most precious treasures used to be. This is not to
teach the sanctifying power of poverty. If to be poor made men
holy every tramp on park bench would be a saint. But God knows
the secret of removing things from our hearts while they still re-
main to us. What He does is to restrain us from enjoying them. He
lets us have them but makes us psychologically unable to let our
hearts go out to them. Thus they are useful without being harmful.
