But prayer should always be your first choice in everything. Nothing is too big or too small to take before our God. Our God who loves us unconditionally, regardless of our choices, circumstances or disobedience. The one and only true God, who’s unconditional love is there for the taking, but you must have the faith to pray for it and reach out and take it. This is the God whom I choose to put my faith in, bring my prayers to and place my trust in. Many of you may remember me talking about Gina and asking for prayers for her and her family during this very difficult and uncertain time. The doctors were very grave in the expectation of her ever regaining consciousness and discussed with her husband the decisions he now needed to make in light of her condition. But Derek had a totally different outlook and a faith that left the doctors speechless. He placed his faith in God and his love for Gina that she was not only going to make it through this accident, but she was going to come home. Well, today I am overwhelmed to say that Gina is home with her family. She has overcome many difficult obstacles along her road to recovery, and she has many more ahead of her. But each day she grows stronger and continues to progress toward the full recovery asked of God in faith. Yes, Gina’s accident was a life changing tragedy and prayer may seem like the only choice. But prayer should always be your first choice in everything. Nothing is too big or too small to take before our God. Our God who loves us unconditionally, regardless of our choices, circumstances or disobedience. The one and only true God, who’s unconditional love is there for the taking, but you must have the faith to pray for it and reach out and take it.
