PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
“Saint Ladislaus Parish is a Roman Catholic Christian
community which has preserved our heritage and culture
since 1907. As we proceed into the future, we will strive to
reach out and welcome our neighbors to become a part of
our parish community through worship and spiritual
support.”
SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
Arrangements should be made at least 6 months in advance.
Couples must schedule an appointment with the pastor prior
to scheduling a wedding. All couples are required to attend
a Diocesan Marriage Preparation Course.
SACRAMENT OF PENANCE
Saturday afternoon from 2:30 to 3:30 pm or by appointment
in the Church office.
PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK
Contact the rectory if you know a parishioner who is in the
hospital, nursing home or is homebound and would like to
receive communion and/or a visit from a priest. Due to new
regulations procedures, patient information is strictly
regulated.
NEW REGISTRATIONS
You can register by calling the rectory and coming in to fill
out the Census Card. You must provide copies of all of
your Sacrament certificates (Baptism, Communion, etc)
for each member of the family.

THE 2018 ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL
APRIL 21 & 22 CONNected Catholics is the diocesan ministry to young adults (age 18-39). The mission of this ministry is to accompany them on their faith journey. This ministry is vital to helping young adults stay con-nected to their sacramental home, the parish. We of-fer ways to engage this age group, including Baseball with the Bishop; annual pilgrimage to the Holy Land to study Scripture; World Youth Day; Theology on Tap and more. Please remember that our Parish’s goal this year is $16,000.00. To date, our Parish has raised 20 gifts worth $3,310.00 from 24 donors, bringing the parish to 20.69% of its goal.

basement. It is open to young people in 8th
through 12th grade.

WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR OUR RELIGIOUS
EDUCATION PROGRAM
We are very grateful to our amazing teachers for having
stepped forward to do God’s work in our Parish, by teach-
ing our young people about our faith and preparing them
for their Sacraments. But we need your help. Our program
has been growing each year and we are in need of more
adult teachers.
I am asking you join us in passing God’s love to our chil-
dren. Can you commit to a class a week, or perhaps to be-
ing a substitute teacher? All classes are taught in English.
We can work with your schedule and you can teach your
class on weekday evenings or Saturdays. Please continue to
keep all those who serve our youth in your prayers. And if
you can help, please contact Donna Forcier, Director of
Religious Education, 203-853-4292.

SAN JOSE Todas aquellas personas que deseen participar en un grupo de oración y alabanza los invitamos a que se unan a nuestro grupo “San José” todos los viernes a
partir de las 8:00 pm en el sótano de nuestra Iglesia.
Nuestro objetivo es el de reunirnos para dar gracias a Dios, rezar la Coronilla de la Misericordia, ala-bar, compartir la Palabra y desarrollar un tema duran-te cada encuentro. El Padre Juan Gabriel nos acompa-ña como coordinador espiritual, y también participan algunos Sacer-dotes invitados.
