Duck Pond • June 7, “Paint a Picnic.” Paint a real picnic table with abstract designs, for use during summer concerts. Decorate and take home a mini table made of Popsicle sticks. • June 14, “Planet Yarn.” Create a giant string art mural from yarn, nails and wood, plus fuzzy wool objects. • June 21, “Life Drawing.” Learn the basics while drawing a costumed model in an outdoor setting. • June 28, “Words and Letters.” Create a community mural with letters and lines, plus flowers from recycled book pages.

Flood’s Hill • July 5, “Faces of South Orange: Who’s Your Real Life Hero?” Be photographed as the most inspiring person you know. Come in costume or build a prop. It’s all part of a community display. • July 12, “Squirt Painting.” Spray paint a unique design on giant sheets! Step one of a community fiber art project. • July 19, “Balloon Sculpture.” Help create a balloon monster! • July 26, “Sew it Up,” step two of a community fiber art proj-ect. Add colorful thread to the squirt painted sheet. • Aug. 2, “Confetti Mural.” End the season with a bang!
