2011-2012 University of Maryland
Faculty and Graduate Student Teaching Awards
More than 100 graduate stu-dents received the Distin-guished Teaching Assis-
tant award this year at a ceremony on May 11 in the Stamp student union. Dozens of faculty members and oth-er graduate students were recognized at the same ceremony for outstand-ing contributions to teaching during the 2011-2012 academic year. With this special edition of the CTE newsletter, we recognize these and other award recipients -- both graduate students and faculty mem-bers -- for their outstanding contribu-tions to teaching at the University of Maryland.
