Rising above Aransas Bay, the Fulton Mansion, named “Oakhurst” by the Fulton family, must have appeared incredible when built in 1877.
The Education & History Center adjacent to the Mansion has a gift
shop, interactive exhibits, and programs that demonstrate life in
the 1800’s and the unusual architecture of the Mansion. Historical
murals surrounding the walls bring history “Alive”.
Hands-on activities are available for children to stir their
imaginations about the Victorian Era.
