Full STEAM Ahead with LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime
(Grades 6+)June 21-24, 9-11:30 a.m. Instructor: Robert Lane
LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime is LEGO’s new go-to STEAM learning tool that provides hands-on building and programming with
an intuitive drag-and-drop coding language based on Scratch. Campers will not only learn block programming, but also have
opportunities to explore text-based coding with Python to program their SPIKE Prime models. Campers will have
the opportunity to build various models throughout the camp. In compliance with health and safety guidelines for COVID-19, campers will build and
program individually with a SPIKE Prime set.
Programming & Robotics with LEGO®
WeDo 2.0 (Grades 3+)
June 21-24, 1-3:30 p.m. Instructor: Thomas McNeal
Campers will develop STEM skills for engineering and robotics as they build & program LEGO
models to have movement and special effects using the LEGO® WeDo™ 2.0 system. In
compliance with health and safety guidelines for COVID-19, campers will
build and program individually with a LEGO kit.

Build and Program Your Own mBot Robot (Grades 4+)
July 19-22, 9-11:30 a.m. Instructor: Thomas McNeal
Campers will explore robotics and develop logical thinking and design skills as the instructor leads them step-by-step to build and program the mBot robot. During the construction process, campers will learn about robotic machinery including motors,
sensors and “The Brain”/control board. Campers will learn visual and text-based programming as they work with free
apps to control their robots. In compliance with health and safety guidelines for COVID-19, campers will build
and program individually with an mBot device.
Video Game Design with RPG Maker MV
(Grades 4+)July 26-29, 9-11:30 a.m.
Instructor: Thomas McNealRPG Maker MV is a game engine used by artists and gamers to create animated digital games. Campers
