SUMMER PROGRAM ABROAD VIA University College - Aarhus, Denmark Spend your summer living abroad, learning, and exploring Denmark while earning academic credits. Why join? Earn transfer credit to satisfy up to two GNED courses (diploma), lower level breadth elective courses (degree) or ARC elective (Architectural Technology students only) from Humber by studying:

- United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and Co-Creation - Multi-Storey Timber Constructions (Available only to Architectural Technology students)

VIA University College Denmark is one of the Nordic countries and considered to be one of the happiest countries in the world. VIA University College is one of Denmark’s largest and most international universities of applied sciences.

United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and Co-Creation Date: July 29, 2019 – August 23, 2019 Price: 1620€ + Accommodation fees The summer school unfolds the UN Sustianable development goals. It entails a high degree of student participation and the course is both cross-cultural and cross-educational.

Multi – Storey Timber Constructions Date: August 5, 2019 – August 16, 2019 Price: 1200€ + Accommodation fees Students will disseminate international state-of-the-art projects, as well as focus on pre-fabrication in the construction process and how to work with CLT (cross-laminated timber).

Included • Social programme including welcome and farewell events (2-3 events per week)• Goodie bag with a map of Aarhus, a water bottle and a pen• Personalised graduation certificate• Admission fees for any day trips and study excursions• Travel health insurance for the program dates, arranged by Humber• Summer tuition fees are waived and normal tuition will be due for the Fall 2019 semester
