Mentoring young people in sport, in life, in faith... Summer 2015 FIELD JOURNAL ON TARGET OUTFITTERS Steve Scott Dear Friends . . . I love sharing with you our experiences in reaching kids and families in our region through a shared passion for outdoor sports. Daily we receive opportu- nities to walk with others through the experiences of life, discipling them in their faith, and improving our skills at both sport and life together. Helping one another in community is what it’s all about! Over 300 kids have participated in our summer day-camps learning archery, riflery, and trapshooting as well as simply having fun. The “Search for Big Foot” camp, an ultimate game of hide and seek, was a time to just enjoy being outside together building friendships. We took a group of 11 students and some parents to Montana for a bowhunting education course that included high country backpacking and camping- a wonderful, memory-making experience. On Target has been humming with activity as hundreds of people have joined us this season for programs and special events we’ve hosted for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H and church groups. All of these activities, and the relationships surrounding them, are made possible because we are all in it together. Volunteers, donors and business partners all contribute time and resources to make it happen. Mowing grass, maintenance, renovation work and cleaning are all continuous projects that need to be accomplished to make our facility the wonderful place it is. Many of you have helped greatly in these areas, while other volunteers work directly with the kids through coaching, chaperoning, and range supervision. Donors and business sponsors provide the funding backbone needed to make our programs possible. Insurance, facility renovation, and program development are major expenses that would be impossible to cover through participant fees alone and financial supporters allow us to keep our fees low. Together we are enriching and making a difference in many young lives. If you’ve been thinking of getting involved but are unsure of how exactly to do so- wonder no more! You have a gift to contribute and we’ll help you get plugged in! Time or treasure, giving of yourself will come back to you ten-fold in ways you never expected. Thanks to all of you who make up the community of On Target Outfitters, Living Life Together . . .

Dear Friends . . .

I love sharing with you our experiences in reaching kids and families in our region through a shared passion for outdoor sports. Daily we receive opportu-nities to walk with others through the experiences of life, discipling them in their faith, and improving our skills at both sport and life together. Helping one another in community is what it’s all about!

Over 300 kids have participated in our summer day-camps learning archery, riery, and trapshooting as well as simply having fun.

Insurance, facility renovation, and program development are major expenses that would be impossible to cover through participant fees alone and nancial supporters allow us to keep our fees low. Together we are enriching and making a dierence in many young lives.

If you’ve been thinking of getting involved but are unsure of how exactly to do so- wonder no more! You have a gift to contribute and we’ll help you get plugged in! Time or treasure, giving of yourself will come back to you ten-fold in ways you never expected.
