Relìv Friends:

in this issue

I had the opportunity to travel throughout the country recently as part of the Relìv Freedom Tour. As exhausting as business travel can be, trips to Relìv special events never fail to reenergize me. They give me the chance to shake hands with new and excited Distributors, feel the energy in the room firsthand and hear life-changing Relìv health and business stories.

One of the things that struck me during my most recent travels is how Relìv itself is being reenergized. I met countless new Distributors and customers who shared with me their enthusiasm and newfound hope since discovering Relìv.

People of all generations are looking to get more from life these days, and our company is ideally situated at the intersection of health and wealth. The number of young people I met on the road who are taking control of their health and their financial future was particularly inspiring. It reminded me that Relìv is a “wellness” company in the truest sense of the word — our products can benefit anyone. Some of the best stories I heard came from people who simply feel better, have more energy and more productive hours in the day thanks to Relìv, and who live confidently knowing they are giving their bodies what they need to remain healthy.

And since our foundation is built upon products that work, Relìv has an incredibly lucrative home-based business opportunity, and many are seeing it and seizing it. Our vision remains clear: We want everyone enjoying the benefits of Relìv products, and when that happens, thriving businesses will result.

This issue of Lifestyle features many of the exciting things happening at Relìv right now: the success of our Team Relìv initiative, our booming growth in Canada, the life-changing work of the Relìv Kalogris Foundation and the stories of people like new Silver Ambassadors Dave and Betty Blazic who are achieving their dreams with Relìv. A special Lifestyle Plus center spread takes you inside the Relìv plant for a closer-than-ever look at our renowned manufacturing process — you’ll definitely want to check it out.

But the real excitement happens on August 12-14 at our International Conference in St. Louis. The Relìv Freedom Tour was just a glimpse of what you can expect at conference. Imagine thousands of Distributors gathered to share stories, launch new initiatives, receive training from top leaders and celebrate what we have achieved together. It truly is a weekend that can change your life.

See you in St. Louis!

ew Silver Ambassadors Dave and Betty Blazic of Topeka, Kansas, have never

been satisfied to sit back and wait for life to happen. They would rather reach for their dreams, even when a lot of work is involved.

“Some people our age might be content to sit on the front porch relax-

ing or playing bingo all day — not us!” Betty says. Betty and Dave found out they

had reached the Silver Ambassador level on their nine-year anniversary with Relìv. “The two most important words in this business are: focus and commitment. Focus on what needs to be done and make a commitment to the whole Relìv Success System,” she adds.

The Blazics say they love their job because it gives them a real motivation in life, helping others to live well and earn income. “We have a huge purpose and passion. We aren’t just punching a time clock each day,” Betty says. The business is also flexible enough to give the Blazics time to enjoy life. “We can spend time with our family whenever we want,” Betty adds. “We love to travel, and we always keep our suitcases close by!”

Having lived in the country most of their lives, the Blazics appreciate the beauty of their land. In fact, Relìv income has enabled them to build a new 60 by 96-foot barn and purchase a Sundowner horse trailer, tractors and horses for their dream farm. “You don’t have to be educated to follow the System,” Dave says. “I never went to high school, but Relìv works if you listen and follow the plan.”

Betty compares the hard work involved in the Relìv System to the hard work of a farmer. “A lot of people might put their

hand on the plow, but never run it. You have to have a strong work ethic, and we do.” One particular strategy that has been effective for the Blazics is attending farm shows and setting up a Relìv booth or display. The tactic has been so successful for them that Dave jokingly refers to Betty as the “Booth Queen.” And they don’t plan to change their approach just because they have reached the next level.

Betty says the acknowledgment Relìv gives for their efforts is one of her favorite things about the company. “Relìv’s rec-ognition is outstanding. They give more of a thank-you than anywhere else in the business world. They recognize the purpose and passion of the Distributors.”

The Blazics also appreciate the interdependence that the Distributors of all levels have on each other. “It’s not all about any one person. We depend on each other. In most businesses, it’s dog eat dog, but with Relìv, you have to help each other,” Betty says.

So what’s next for the Relìv couple always moving forward? “Silver is awesome, but Betty’s been hunting that gold ring all along,” Dave says. Betty adds, “He’s right. I’ve always wanted that ring, so this is a stepping stone!”

We can spend time

with our family whenever we

want. We love to travel,

and we always keep our

suitcases close by!

On May 20 Relìv Headquarters was visited by Abe Clark, a Team Relìv-sponsored athlete attempting to become the 15th person ever to run across the US solo and without a support vehicle. He was averaging 22 miles a day to reach his total of 2900 miles! And every day included regular shakes of ProVantage®, Innergize! and Relìv Now®/Classic®. His efforts also raised money for Living Water International. Check on Abe’s progress at runningwater.cc.

Team Relìv athlete Greg James of Omaha, Nebraska, won a Silver Medal at the 2010 Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in Irvine, California, in April. It was Greg’s second Silver medal this year! Greg was one of 40 competitors from a number of countries in the Purple Belt Senior 2 Heavyweight division.

Bill Gearhart, a 53-year-old Relìv Distributor from Simi Valley, California, was diagnosed with cancer five years ago. After successful treatment he decided to supplement his diet to help maintain optimal health, eventually discovering Relìv products and a daily regimen of Provantage, Innergize and Relìv Now. With “a new outlook on life,” he also decided to get back into running. Now a regular marathon runner, he finished his first Boston Marathon with a time of 3:15:56 on April 19, 2010.

Earth Run 2010 in Manila, Philippines“More than 7,000 runners gathered to raise awareness for the preservation of Mother Earth. Distributors passionately shared Relìv as part of our campaign to promote health and fitness and our mission to Nourish Our World.”

— Relìv Philippines Managing Director Jolly Gomez

Summit Classic in Kalispell, MT“It was a fun day even though it rained the entire time. We got soaked but 800 people still did the run and we passed out lots of Innergize! and got about 120 leads! It was great working together as a team.”

— Bronze Ambassador Cookie Greene

Our House Five Miler in Summit, NJ“We had a great time! The event generated a lot of excitement and about 75 leads! The bright Team Relìv colors really stood out and we were able to address the entire crowd of 600 runners. Great exposure for Relìv among the health-conscious crowd.”

lympic athletes weren’t the only ones to gain notoriety in Canada this year. Relìv Distributors in this quickly grow-ing region are reaping the benefits of a market rich with possibilities. In fact, the past three

quarters have seen sales growth numbers in the double digits, including a first quarter increase of 50% over last year.

Canada Sales Manager Mark Lewis attributes the recent growth to a greater focus on the core principles of Relìv. “A number of people who might have been working on their business as a part-time project have now made a commitment to focus on it full-time,” Mark says. “Many veteran Distributors have gotten fired up about the market opportunities here, and are now advancing to higher levels.”

Often, US Distributors overlook the international market for business growth. Mark says American Distributors shouldn’t discount the expansion opportunities in the market just to the north. “Sponsoring in Canada was up by 110% in March

of this year compared to last,” he says. Canada has also seen a 300% increase in Master Affiliates this year.”

What’s the secret to Canada’s suc-cess? No secret at all, according to Mark. “The newly improved tools, such as the opportunity slides, ‘Four Pillars’ videos, and new presentation workbooks, have many Distributors fired up about developing their business even further.”

Maria and Doug Weber of Stratford, Ontario, have focused on advertising with signs and posters in the community to get more leads. Others are simply doing what they have always done but increasing their inten-sity. John Stegnenga, a Master Affiliate from Jarvis, Ontario, says, “I’ve been more focused and intentional than in the past.”

The first Distributorship to reach the Presidential Director level in 2010 was Gary and Laura Lynn Martin, from St. Clements, Ontario. They say it was surprising how quickly they were able to increase their income and how easy Relìv makes it. “You don’t have to reinvent the program — just jump on board and make it happen!” Gary says.

Mark says, “I see a great Relìv year ahead of us. I foresee more growth in Canada as our Distributors continue to seize the full potential of the Relìv opportunity!”

Family Freedom“We had been using the products since 2006 and we became Dis-tributors mainly to get a discount on the product for ourselves. But in 2008, we took a closer look and decided it could be a great way for us to supplement our income. We started looking toward our friends and family to share the results with them. This year, Doug has been able to quit his construction job to focus on the Relìv business. The freedom to travel has been wonderful for us since our family doesn’t live nearby. A few years ago, I couldn’t see my-self doing this. I never would have imagined we would be able to bless others and spend more time with our family!”

Key Directors Maria & Doug Weber Stratford, Ontario

Unwavering Belief“We started working Relìv on a part-time basis, but lately we have taken on more of a full-time at-titude. This led to more bonuses and increased income. We have been able to use some of that in-come to fund long-distance travel to visit our daughters. Our belief in these products and this business is unwavering. We are never afraid to bring up Relìv when speaking to anyone. We are Distributors with the most ethical company in the world and are very proud of that. We know that, as Distributors, the leadership team at the corporate level is committed to our success. Relìv has never disappointed us!”

Senior Directors John & Annette Stegenga Jarvis, Ontario

Never Too Late“Twenty years ago, we started taking Relìv products and had fantastic results. We weren’t inter-ested in the business side of Relìv at that time. But, eight months ago, we started as Master Affiliates. In addition to the income we’ve made, we feel rewarded to be able to help others with their health needs. I wish I had started my business 20 years ago, but it really is never too late to start with Relìv!”

Directors Lily & Donald Taylor Pickering, Ontario

Sharing From the Heart“There’s been more excitement locally. More people are taking the business seriously, attending conferences, special events and MAT schools. All of the events get people excited about Relìv. Relìv has an incredible System in place to make it easy to get started. To keep the momentum, you’ve got to talk to new people. Just share it with excitement and passion — share it from the heart!”

The Relìv Kalogris Foundation Mission Trip changed hearts the way no other Relìv trip has.

“The faces of these children are etched in my mind and in my heart forever,” says Key Director Lou Ann Pecorelli. “I always connected to the faces of the children in the videos, but to be a part of it and see the depth of the Foundation’s work was more powerful than anything they could have shown me.”

From the moment Relìv announced the first-ever Kalogris Foundation Mission Trip in September, Presidential Gold Ambassador Mindy Jones of Alpharetta, GA, knew she would be part of it. “I said, ‘I’m going!’ and I immediately got focused. It all came together after that,” Mindy says. “When they announced my name on the Monday night call, I was just so excited.” Sharing in Mindy’s excitement was Bronze Ambassador Kathy Penney: “I always thought of these children and now was my chance to finally meet them!”

Experience of a LifetimeUpon arriving in Malaysia, Michael and Lou Ann

Pecorelli of Orem, UT, and Key Directors Crismon

and Vivienne Lewis of Gresham, OR, took a tour of a feeding program. In this program, children receive Relìv shakes, which they call “pod” meaning nutrition. They learn to speak English, weave, read and write. After three days, the Distributors felt like they had known the children and volunteers for years. “Poverty isn’t always about money. These children are poor in health,” Lou Ann says. “But when they are given Relìv, their bodies can grow and they can learn and play like all children should.”

“It was easy to fall in love with the Malaysian people, most of whom were descendants of nationalities from India, China or other southeast Asian countries. They were so friendly and giving, always with gleam-ing smiles and a friendly word,” add Vivienne and Crismon.

Kathy and Mindy visited a garbage dump in the Philippines where poor families spend hours each day collecting scraps of recyclables for a few dollars each month. They also visited a feeding program called “Happyland” where rows of buildings house poor families. Distributors made shakes for the children in a room reno-

vated by the Foundation to be a clean, safe place for the children to go for school.

Presidential Double Platinum Ambassadors Raul and Aurora Paredes of Dallas, TX, visited Haiti and were overwhelmed by the extent of the poverty everywhere they looked. “Now that I have seen it, I can categorically say that unless you actually see, actually touch and actually feel Haiti, you cannot begin to comprehend the situation,” Raul says.

Love in ActionThe Distributors were amazed at the Foundation’s impact.

“Before we went, I knew the Kalogris Foundation was feeding kids and building schools, but had no idea the magnitude of the work being done,” Mindy notes. “It became obvious to us that Relìv has become an instrument, a tool, in the hands of some of the most caring and devoted people we have ever met,” Vivienne and Crismon add. “Taking a Relìv shake will never again be the same for us. Our level of gratitude and belief in the capacity of these products has soared tremendously.”

“If I could describe in just three words what the Kalogris Foundation is all about, it would be: LOVE IN ACTION,” Aurora says. “We are feeding children who otherwise have

little hope for the future. They are our future scientists, doctors, nurses. These will be future mothers and fathers.”

Kathy viewed the trip as a way for her to pay forward the past assistance she received. “Sixteen years ago, before Relìv, I went to food pantries because I couldn’t afford groceries. I never knew how lucky I was to even have a place like that. But these people have noth-ing,” she says. “Dr. Kalogris and Bob Montgomery had a vision to nourish the world, and now I feel like I am truly part of that vision. This trip has truly changed my heart and changed my life forever.”

Mission (Trip) Accomplished! How You Can Help“The Kalogris Foundation can only do so much, but if we can get more Distributors to join us in this effort by contributing to the Foundation, we can do much more.”

— Presidential Double Platinum Ambassador Raul Paredes

Build Your BusinessThe Foundation is unique in that all of our support

comes from our own Relìv Distributors. Since we do not solicit outside organizations or individuals for donations, the best way for us to increase donations is to increase our donor base. And the best way to increase our donor base is to bring in new Distributors. The more people you sponsor into the business, the more Distributors there are to support the Foundation.

DonateRelìv offers Distributors various ways to donate.

Whether it is a one-time donation, a recurring monthly contribution of a specific amount or your monthly PVQ, it all adds up to helping us continue to maintain our current feeding programs and hopefully expand in the future.

Meet our Mission Trip travelers and hear their moving accounts firsthand at International Conference. Plus, see the premier of an all-new Foundation DVD and learn more about the important work your generosity makes possible during a very special Kalogris presentation.

nyone who has worked in a corporate atmosphere has most likely longed for a home office. The thought of wearing paja-mas all day sounds comfy, and being home to spend more time with the kids appeals to any parent. But a home office can only succeed if it is treated like a real business.

Many successful Relìv Distributors have built their businesses using a home office

that feels separate from their living space. In other words, they aren’t operating from their kitchen table or living- room couch. Here’s how a few Distributors have created home offices that work.

Making Your Home Office

for YouWORK

Raul & Aurora ParedesStaying Organized and Setting Boundaries

In a home office, it is important to separate business from personal tasks throughout the day. Presidential Double Platinum Ambassadors Raul and Aurora Paredes of Dallas, TX, have made it clear to the household that their work-space is for Relìv business only. “Having a separate area for me to work in gives me the ability to focus better on what I have to do. Having a little area to ‘report in’ gives me more discipline,” Aurora says.

Boundaries and organization help to define one’s work-space. As Raul explains, “We have let the household know that the space is our own. Then, we make sure that all docu-ments, materials and equipment are always placed within our own workspace and not scattered all over the house.”

Keeping everything you need in close proximity means you can be more efficient with your time. “I have my com-puter, telephone, filing and Relìv materials all within arm’s reach. It certainly beats driving through traffic daily. Our office is just a few feet away!” Aurora says.

Making Your Home Office

for You

Betty & Dave BlazicCreating a Personalized Space

Presidential Silver Ambassadors Betty and Dave Blazic of Topeka, KS, were successful with Relìv before, but since designating a space as their home office, they have been able to take their business to the next level. “My office started with a desk in a small hallway. My assistant worked from a folding card table in the front room and shelves full of products. We were cramped to say the least, but we were serious!” Betty says.

When they expanded their farm house, they created a “communications center” in their large new office. With three desks, two tables, a sofa, shelves and other furniture, it truly feels like a professional office space. They have personalized it with various awards on display. Perhaps the best part of working from home is the fact that it reflects the Blazics and their love of their farm. Betty explains, “We set it up the way we wanted. We get to enjoy the huge windows and the view of the farm. I can see everything and look into my beautiful yard every day!”

Chris Toriello & Mark GaugerRunning a ‘Relìv Operations Center’

Bronze Ambassadors Chris Toriello and Mark Gauger from North Yarmouth, ME, incorporated a new home office for Chris when they built their garage. Initially, they used a “hodgepodge of furniture” just to fill it up.

“After visiting Relìv’s corporate headquarters, I saw Dr. Carl’s beautiful desk and was inspired,” Chris says. “I’ve got a multi-million dollar business and it should feel that way. So when we got back home, I found a beautiful cherry desk that inspired me!” The couple also has several bulletin boards and white boards that they use to write goals, track appointments and make organizational charts. The visuals help them stay on track.

When Mark retired from the military, he set up his “office” in the living room. After a while, the couple found that set-up to be disconnected. “We figured that since this is our business, we needed to be doing it together,” Mark says. Being a military officer, Mark is used to using a lot of acronyms, so he coined the term “Relìv Operations Center” and they now call it the ROC. “We love earning a living and making a difference and the ROC keeps us focused on doing just that!”

Those fuzzy bunny slippers might be perfect for work-ing from home, but when you are meeting potential customers, suddenly they aren’t so cute. Dress for your own success by wearing a nice shirt with the Relìv logo. Wear a Relìv pin on your lapel. Or carry a Relìv tote with you. These items can be conversation starters, giving you the opportunity to talk about your business, especially when a stranger asks, “Hey, what’s Relìv?” Check out the Company Store at reliv.com for a variety of Relìv apparel and other logoed items.

See for yourself! Take a guided tour of Relìv Headquarters, including the executive offices, boardrooms, research labs and world-renowned manufacturing plant on August 15 as part of International Conference weekend in St. Louis.

On the following four pages, you will find our third installment of Lifestyle Plus, a new kind of prospecting piece from Relìv. As you can see, this time we’re focus-ing on Relìv’s uncompromising commitment to quality.

Hand out this entire magazine — with all of its feature articles, success stories and latest hap-penings around Relìv — and direct new people to this center spread. Or order 10-packs of this special section alone through the Company Store. (Look on the “Sales Tools” page under the “Shopping” tab on the Distributor portal.) This issue, as well as our last two installments of Lifestyle Plus, is now available to order.

In this issueWhen it comes to nutritional sup-plements, there’s nothing quite like Relìv. What makes our prod-ucts stand above the rest? We’ve identified four key qualities:

• Bioavailability: When dissolved in a liquid, nutrients are absorbed more easily by the body.

• Synergism: Ideal nutrient combinations provide greater health benefits than nutrients consumed individually.

• Optimal Nutrition: Going beyond the daily minimums, Relìv provides optimal levels of essential nutrients.

• Guaranteed Quality Ingredients: The most reputable suppliers and rigorous testing at each step in the manufacturing process ensure quality.

Together, these make up what we call the Relìv Difference. This issue of Lifestyle Plus takes a closer look at the fourth item on this list.

Quality AssuredMost nutritional supplement com-panies are not willing — or able — to share their entire manufac-turing and quality control process as we have done on the following pages. Fortunately, Relìv is not most companies.

This issue of Lifestyle Plus provides an unprecedented look inside Relìv. You’ve always been able to tell people about Relìv’s uncom-promising commitment to quality, and now you have a powerful, step-by-step way to illustrate exactly what you mean.

We are proud of how we run our company, and we want the world to know about it. Use this new tool to demonstrate to your prospects that, when it comes to product safety, purity and potency, there’s only one Relìv.

Company right after I earned my Ph.D. in Food Science from the University of Illinois. Mead Johnson produced a variety of nutritional products, including infant formula, as well as pharmaceutical prod-ucts. As you can imagine, manufactur-ing these kinds of products required the highest degree of quality control.

It was like being re-educated right out of school. We had medical doctors working alongside Ph.D.s to create production areas, including sterile production areas, with the highest possible standards. I became proficient in quality manufacturing prac-tices right from the start and brought that knowledge with me to Relìv.

In 1992, Relìv’s growth as a company enabled the construction of the current manufacturing plant. How did you approach creating the facility?

We didn’t spare any expense. Our desire was to build a top-quality

operation. We knew Relìv was going to be around for a long time and we knew the standards we wanted to maintain as we grew.

Quality and efficiency were the top priori-ties. We developed a three-story production process, for example, that uses gravity to move ingredients through the production process rather than having to convey them from station to station. This also decreases the possibility of contamination.

Every feature of the facility was taken into consideration — from using paints on the walls that could be washed down easily and inhibit bacteria growth to installing an air quality system to control heat and humid-ity and direct air flow out of the plant. Our foresight in creating such a state-of-the-art facility has been one of the cornerstones of Relìv success over the years.

How is Relìv’s manufacturing process regulated?

In the U.S., we comply with two regu-latory systems of the FDA (Food and

Drug Administration) by following GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) for both food producers and dietary supplement manufacturers. The FDA regularly inspects our operations without advance notice of their visit. During their most recent visit, one that we were told would last two days, inspectors were so impressed that they completed their work in just one morning!

We are also one of the few nutritional supplement companies that meet the requirements of stricter international reg-ulatory agencies such as Australia’s TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration). The TGA process requires a thorough three-

day inspection that looks at every aspect of what we do. I’m proud to say we’ve been TGA-certified since 1993.

Why is Relìv so committed to the quality and safety of its products?

Our commitment to quality and safety is defined by the moral integ-

rity of the company itself and the people involved since the very beginning. We are proud of what we produce. We want every Relìv customer to know they are getting the best possible nutrition and every Relìv Distributor to know that they can build their business with absolute confidence in what they are bringing to people.

We’ve had opportunities to take shortcuts that might have increased profitability over the years, but that’s not the Relìv way. Our families take these products. We wouldn’t give them anything but the best, and that’s the same way we feel about everyone who takes Relìv products around the world.

our months since its launch, more than 5,000 people have joined the online conversation on the Relìv International Facebook Page. Many Distributors have already used social media, includ-ing Facebook, to grow

their Relìv business. Social media is a marketing tool you can use to generate new leads, maintain customer relationships and keep in touch with your business network.

One of the biggest myths about using social media for business is that is it easy. Jennifer Fong is a speaker, consultant and trainer who teaches direct selling companies and individual direct sellers how to use social media effectively as a business-building tool. On her blog, jenfong-speaks.com, Jen explains, “You MUST build relationships with people to use social media marketing well. That means investing time daily in finding new contacts, talking to them and listening to what’s important to them. Only after a relationship is built can you talk about your product or opportunity.”

Your contacts will only come back if you have something valuable to offer them. Jen says, “The people you connect with need to come to trust you as someone who will provide content of value.” Repeatedly asking people to buy your product via status updates will only annoy people. Providing useful health or nutrition information might actually get a discussion started instead. Once you have built up a relationship, you can communicate privately online or in person to discuss Relìv.

Here’s how Relìv Distributors have been using social media to boost their business!

Ross & Lori Doerneman With social media, you don’t start with the ‘selling’ part. With Facebook, you don’t just see a person, you see their whole lifestyle and you can relate to them better. A friend who turned us down five years ago has now reconsidered it because we have stayed in touch online.

Michael & Jan Sheffield We care for our three-year-old granddaughter, so it can be difficult for us to attend meetings all the time, but we use Facebook to stay in touch. It is surprising how people might not open up in person, but online, they are willing to share so much more.

Renee Vidor A friend posted on her Facebook status about her migraines. I saw the comment and followed up to tell her about Relìv. After she tried it, she wanted to be a Distributor. She recently sponsored her first Distributor, too. It’s been a blessing because I was able to talk with her through social media!

Brittany Hubble Social media helps me keep in touch with people I spoke to about Relìv in the past, but were not interested at the time. Online, I continue to plant the seeds of interest. Out of the blue, individuals will often message me on Facebook telling me they would like to learn more.

Wendy Hickman I post Relìv comments and links on Face-book. A Facebook friend sent me a message asking about the products. She started telling others her story and became a Master Affiliate within a month. I received a text message from her recently thanking me for posting about Relìv on Facebook!

Relìv CaresWeek of Caring gives Relìv employees the opportunity to give back

he Relìv mission to Nourish Our World in body, mind and spirit is at the core of what employees do each day at Relìv headquarters.

“We spread the Relìv mission through the Kalogris Foundation worldwide, but we also think it is important to make an impact local-ly as well,” says Chief Operating Officer Scott Montgomery.

“During our second annual Week of Caring, Relìv employees went beyond their office walls to make a difference in the local community.”

The program coincided with National Volunteer Week, April 18-24. Roughly one-third of all Relìv employees participated. Volunteer work included building a house for Habitat for Humanity, cleaning and mulching at Forest Park, donating supplies and playing with animals at Open Door Animal Sanctuary, making a meal for families at Ronald McDonald House and rais-ing money and walking for the March of Dimes. Employees also raised money for the Humane Society through a “Bark in the Park” event.

“Our goals for the event were to get involved in volunteerism, promote teamwork among employees and get the Relìv name out there in our local community,” says Vice President of Operations Debra Hellweg, who helped plan the event along with a committee of other employees. “The week was a huge success. The organizations that received our help were very grateful, and the employees who participated had a wonderful sense of fulfillment.”

‘Fun and Rewarding’Receptionist Judy Arnold served as one

of the team leaders. “We worked our tails off spreading mulch and sanitizing a huge play-ground in our city’s jewel: Forest Park,” Judy says. “Then we went to the Boathouse for some great food, scenery and camaraderie with co-workers that we normally don’t get the chance to interact with. It was a fun and rewarding time!”

International Marketing Manager Mark Malott headed up a group that went to Ronald McDonald House to make a meal for parents of children undergoing treatment for serious illness at local hospitals. “When we were setting up dinner, the Director was showing new parents around the house and you could visibly see the worry and sadness on their faces. When they were finished with the tour, they came back to the kitchen for dinner and they were so apprecia-tive. It really illustrated how something as small a making a meal can brighten someone’s day when they have a sick child at the hospital. Food pre-pared with care and love can be a great comfort to those dealing with crisis and our Relìv team really made it special,” Mark says.

Debra concludes, “It goes along with the heart of our company to do something like this. With our mission, it just makes sense for Relìv to give back locally.”

Amanda Lines of Hebron, Indiana.

Eli Smith of Franklin, Indiana.

“To watch my child flourishing is wonder-ful,” says Kim Smith, a Relìv Master Affiliate from Franklin, Indiana. But Kim’s three-year-old son, Eli, didn’t always enjoy good health.

Eli suffered from several food allergies and asthma, and trips to the emergency room were com-mon. His breathing problems and allergies kept him indoors while other children played outside.

A friend familiar with Eli’s health issues gave Kim a can of Relìv Now® for Kids. Kim was skeptical, and the product sat untouched in her pantry for two weeks. “I didn’t want to take the chance the ingredients would cause an allergic reaction,” Kim explains.

When she finally introduced Eli to the product, she witnessed an astounding improvement. “With better nutrition in his body, Eli is a changed boy!” she says.

Kim is thrilled her son can now enjoy the outdoors with his family. “He loves hunting, fishing and camping with his dad,” Kim says. Some of his favorite activities now include tee ball and playing outside with his dogs.

Kim looks forward to a healthier future for her children. “Sharing Eli’s story with others has been amazing. I’m really excited that my kids will grow up with Relìv nutrition in their lives!”

Special Olympian Amanda Lines of Hebron, Indiana, has improved her health with the help of Relìv’s Slimplicity® program. As a basketball, volleyball and softball player, Amanda credits her weight loss for improvements in her athletic performance as well.

“Amanda’s weight gain made it more dif-ficult for her to compete on the basketball court,” explains her mother, Kendra Lines. After the Special Olympics in June 2009, Amanda realized she needed to lose some weight in order to keep up with the team.

“After about six to eight weeks of using the Relìv shakes, she had a lot more energy for exercise,” Kendra says. The added energy meant Amanda could take longer walks outside with her dog. When it rained, Amanda used a stationary bike indoors.

Since starting on Slimplicity, Amanda has lost 40 pounds. She is feeling so much better that she recently advanced from half-court to full-court bas-ketball without any difficulty.

“Now I can play longer without having to be subbed out of the game as often,” says Amanda, who plays guard on the team. “And I steal the ball a lot more on defense!”

Steve Weiler of Vancouver, Washington.

Triathlete Perseveres With Help From RelìvSteve Weiler, a student at

Washington State University, was a competitive and dedicated triathlete. Two years of competition had Steve thinking about a professional ath-letic career. But last August, while he was training on his bike, Steve was hit by a truck.

“My orthopedic surgeon found I had a broken tibial plateau and severe damage to the cartilage in my leg,” Steve says. “He told me my ath-letic career was over, that in two years I’d have to deal with arthritis and that I might not be able to walk!”

After six weeks on crutches, Steve asked his doctor if he could

try biking again. “When I got back on my bike in December, I began using Relìv’s Arthaffect®,” Steve explains. “After a two-hour-plus ride, I’d be pretty sore, but Arthaffect helped me recover quickly and reduced the inflammation, soreness and pain in my knee. It allows me to train harder and recover faster.

“Now I’m also using Innergize!® — up to three bottles on long rides — and it keeps my energy levels high,” he adds. “I’m back on the cycling team at Washington State and I have also recently won two stage races. Relìv not only helps with my racing, but in my life every single day.”

Good Nutrition Changes Lives — At Any AgeVic Linden of Fairfax,

Virginia, is 84 years old, a WW II vet and a retired carpenter. In 2005, Vic suffered a devastating stroke. “I couldn’t do anything but eat and sleep,” Vic recalls. “My vision had gotten so bad that my ophthalmologist told me I couldn’t drive, and I was plagued by stiff joints.”

In September 2006, Vic started on Relìv. “I noticed a difference right away,” he says. “Before I knew it, I was tak-ing long walks and working in the yard.”

Vic had a long-time passion for competitive archery, but after his stroke he didn’t know if he

could even draw a bow. In 2007, Vic tried competing again. “In competition, we have to shoot 60 arrows, 20 at 60 yards, 20 at 50 yards and 20 at 40 yards. It takes about 3 1/2 hours,” Vic explains. In the previous three years, Vic came away with a silver medal each year. In 2010 he took home the gold!

“When I went back to my eye doctor, he was amazed by the improvement in my vision,” Vic says. “I’m hardly aware of the physical limitations that used to slow me down. With God’s help, and Relìv, I’m going to have a good life. Relìv is great!”

Jen & Jason Arntz of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Bird family of Townsend, Montana.

Senior Directors Cory and Jennilee Bird of Townsend, Montana, were able to expand their ranching business with income from their Relìv business.

“Before I started with Relìv, I knew more about salt licks for horses and cattle than I knew about nutrition for humans,” Jennilee says. She learned more about nutrition when she saw her own positive results on Relìv. “I experienced fewer aches and pains, headaches and allergy symptoms with the proper nutrition in my body.”

As horse dealers, ranchers and trucking company owners, the Birds are no strangers to hard work. They’ve incorporated Relìv into their array of business ventures by applying the same strong work ethic they need on the ranch. In fact, they’ve been so successful, they recently purchased a second herd of cattle with their Relìv earnings.

Jennilee says the key to their success has been to continue sharing Relìv with more people and to focus on helping their customers and Distributors. “I love to hear the stories of results people are getting and knowing that we played a part,” she says. “It has really been phenomenal!”

Jason Arntz, 24, was inspired to become a Relìv Distributor in college after witnessing improvements in his mother’s health.

As a college student, however, Jason was initially more interested in having fun than starting a business. “I didn’t really care about nutrition at that point. I think my body’s chemical makeup was basically soda and pizza,” he jokes. For three years, Jason didn’t do much to build his business.

In July 2009, Jason married Jen, 23, and with marriage came a new outlook. “When you start making sacrifices, you find rewards. Eventually, the sacrifices become a joy,” he says.

Then in August, Jason was laid off. He turned to his Relìv business for income. “I sat in a cubicle analyzing auto industry data all day. I wanted freedom to spend more time with my wife,” he says. He and Jen started building the business together, eventually achieving the level of 3-Star Director.

Jason was given his job back, but after a few months, he decided to quit and focus entirely on Relìv. Jason and Jen want to spend more time togeth-er on ministry, music and dance. Their eventual goal is for Jen to focus on Relìv full-time as well.

“We have already experienced so much freedom through Relìv and we know the best is yet to come. Relìv is a business of the heart. Every day with Relìv, my vision of freedom becomes clearer,” Jason says.

College Freshman Building a Future With RelìvDavid Townsend is 18 and a

freshman at Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia. He’s a young man with ambitious dreams.

When David’s mom heard about Relìv, she thought it might be an opportunity for her son. David agreed, so he used the money he’d saved for a car to invest in his future. “I came in as a Master Affiliate in October because I saw a great opportunity with a company devot-ed to helping people,” he says.

Although school — and the basketball team — keep David busy, he’s found the time to grow his busi-ness. He’s now a Relìv Director.

“It’s gone well,” David says. “People are responsive to the oppor-

tunity and impressed with the quality of the company. I attend training when my schedule allows, but now that basketball season is over, I’ll have more time to learn and grow.”

David’s mom and some of her friends have become a part of his organization and he sees tremen-dous potential in his peers at school. “I know how great the products are from my own experience,” he explains, “and people my age are surprisingly nutrition-conscious.

“I intend to become a Star Director this year, and earn $1,000 a month,” he adds. “From there, the sky’s the limit as far as I’m concerned. With Relìv, great things are possible!”

Michaels family of Alpharetta, Georgia.

Key Director Faithe Michaels became a Distributor in February 2010 after seeing how her fam-ily benefited from better nutrition. “We started on the products for wellness and prevention. We all started feeling really good and had more energy, and I noticed we weren’t getting sick as often as we had the previous year,” she says.

Faithe took a fast track to suc-cess. She attended a Tuesday night meeting and a Saturday training in the same week. Just one week after that, she attended the National Conference in Phoenix and was inspired to build her Relìv business.

“Oh my gosh, the conference was amazing! Everyone in the room wants to help other people. The way the company is run and the integrity is amazing,” Faithe says.

“One of the things I really like about conference is that all of the speakers are from the company. It is so much more effective than having an outsider come in to speak to us because they can relate to Relìv and they know what the company is all about.”

As a newer Distributor, Faithe finds the support from others to be very encouraging, “So many people with different backgrounds and from different walks of life love what they are able to do with Relìv. I am proud to be a part of this wonderful community.”
