About Little Bridges Summer Camp

ACADEMIC REVIEW & CHARACTER TRAITSThroughout the week we have weekly creative writing projects which encourage campers to write and perform skits. Our creative writing projects help build:

SWIMMING AND PARK DAYS• Mondays we go to various parks in San Ramon.• Tuesdays and Thursdays we go to San Ramon Olympic Pool.• Transportation is provided by our Little Bridges vans.• Swimming pool ratio is 1:6.

WEEKLY WEDNESDAY FIELD TRIPS• Every Wednesday we take a chartered bus to a fun

Bay Area location.• Campers need to arrive by 8:45am and we return by

5:00pm unless otherwise noted.• Field Trip ratio is 1:6.

FUN FRIDAYS• We book a special guest or activity to come to our campus -

from a magician to game trucks - Fridays are always fun!• Campers are encouraged to dress up according to our

“Friday Fits.”• At the end of a busy week, we conclude with a movie based

on our weekly theme.• Campers perform weekly skits @ 9:45am

OUR STAFF• We have a low ratio of 1:9 onsite, and 1:6 on field trips and at the pool.• All counselors are fingerprinted and have gone through CPR/First Aid Training.• Our counselors are passionate and organized which produce well thought out activities.

SUNSCREENEach student must provide their own

labeled sunscreen. Drop off thebottle in the sunscreen bin on

Mondays and take home on Fridays.

Children must have sunscreen onbefore arriving.

Teachers will reapply in the

afternoon.

SNACKS & LUNCHESLittle bridges will provide a morning & afternoon snack.

Families must provide daily lunches for their children.Please no heat-up lunches.

Little Bridges is a nut-free school.Students are required to bring a disposable lunch on fieldtrip days. Please pack food in disposable containers and

lunch bags.

Provide any required medication to Little Bridges staff.Parents are responsible for applying sunscreen on theirchild daily. Tennis shoes or sandals with straps are required. Flipflops can be worn to the pool only.Orange camp shirts MUST be worn on Mondays andWednesdays. No exceptions. Extra shirts will be providedat the expense of the family.Keep toys and other accessories at home. Little Bridgescannot be responsible for lost or broken items.

SAFETY

Parents must sign their child in and out each day.A written, 4 week notice must be given to the office forcancellations. Refunds/transfers will not be honored withless notice. Please see dates for cancellation timeline.
