Daily Art Zone Fun: Clay Table, Easel Painting, Spray Bottle Painting, Goop Table, Dress Up, Mud & Water Kitchen.

Throughout the summer we also offer our favorite projects such as “Magic” Heart Painting, Collage Finger-painting, Wood

Collage, Card Collage, Beading, Shrinky Dinks, Face Painting, Clay Treasure Boxes, Coil Pots, and so much more. The most fun is

Lemon-Aide Stand

Kids make tons of art & decide which to take home &

what to donate. Art cards, peace magnets, recycled

beads & jewelry, cute charms, & more sell on Etsy

store set up by Art Zone. Children are guided to

choose a charity to benefit from the proceeds. Older

kids can help manage the online store.

August 3 to August 7: West LA

Summer Bugs, Snakes, Butterflies & Birds

Nature’s animals & textures inspire our art work as

kids explore creatures that crawl, wiggle & fly: Pastel

Portraits of Insects, Snake Texture Ink & Watercolor

Art; Design Butterfly Wings in Clay, Paper Sculpture

Birds and Dragonfly Fairies.

July 27 to July 31: West LA

Print Shop Art Camp

Art Zone is transformed into a creative print-making

studio! Explore stencil shapes (peace signs, cupcakes,

airplanes & dinosaurs), Print from leaves, flowers,

string, lace & paper. Print on cardboard, fabric,

100% rag paper & more!! FRIDAY: bring a T-Shirt

Glitter Week Art Camp

Kids have unlimited access to Art Zone’s glitter

cabinet all week long - a new project each day

including: Glitter Robots, “Glitter Splash” inspired

by Jackson Pollack, Glitter Insects/Flowers, Glitter

Textile Design, & Glitter Architecture Towers.

Ice Castles & Frozen Creatures:

Kids paint & sculpt artic environments for their

favorite creatures. Projects include a Winter Fox

& Ice Castle Portrait, Clay Polar Bear & Ice Cave,

Puffy Paper Artic Dinosaur, Clay Penguins, and

“Magic Painting” Seals. Kids also play with ice

cube painting and frozen balloons water play.

super heroes to life as we imagine a world of

A wide variety of materials & techniques keep kids

exploring something new every day. Paper Making,

August 24 - Aug 28: West LA

Plaster Play

Inspired our Pop Art hero, Claes Oldenburg, we

share unique kid-friendly techniques that Art Zone

has mastered over 12 years of playing with plaster.

Plaster Tank Tops, Plaster Leaves, Plaster Mache,

Plaster Magnets and more plaster fun all week.

choose 5 or more days, a discounted rate applies, and the days you choose do not

need to be consecutive days. Morning Camp is 4 hours. Afternoon Camp is 3 hours.
