a) -Presentación de las actividades escolares para la prevención de adicciones realizadas por el instituto polaco durante el último trimestre escolar. Entre ellas destacar el día de convivencia familiar entre padres, alumnos y profesores.

-Informe sobre la celebración del Día de la Salud (especialmente relacionada con enfermedades debidas a trastornos alimenticios,anorexia,bulimia,etc..)

a) Presentation of school activities to prevent addictions performed by the Polish High School during the last school semester. Among these, we should highlight the family gathering day among parents, students and teachers.

-Report on the celebration of the Day of Health (specially related to diseases due to eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia, etc. …).

-Informe sobre la aplicación del programa de prevención de drogas Arion.

-Report on the implementation of drug prevention program Arion.

Al mismo tiempo que se hacían las explicaciones oportunas, se abría un turno de preguntas para contrastar y comentar la problemática y la situación entre ambos países.

While appropriate explanations were made, questions were asked to contrast and discuss the problems and the situation between both countries.

-Inauguración de las conferencias por el alcade de Tarnobzreg- Opening of the conference by the mayor of Tarnobzreg

--SE HAN REALIZADO TRES CONFERENCIAS: - THREE CONFERENCES HAVE BEEN HELD:

1) 9.00-9.45h- Realizada por Beata Zieba ,la decana de la universidad con el tema : el Papel de la Familia y la Escuela en los Estudiantes.1)9.00-9.45h - Made by Beata Zieba, the dean of the university with the topic: the Role of the Family and School Students.

-En esta charla se trataron aspectos como:

-El papel que juega la familia y la escuela en la prevención de cualquier tipo de adicción y se señaló, como así ocurre en ambos países, que muchas veces el apoyo por parte de los padres es muy poco y de que a veces falla el apoyo de la familia en educar en valores y en colaborar con las autoridades y representantes educativos para tal finalidad.

Se comenta que si la imagen que se proyecta en estos dos ámbitos es buena, las consecuencias serán también positivas.

Destacar el papel de la escuela en la prevención y el del profesor como guía y educador.

During this talk there were some commented issues such as: The role of the family and the school in the prevention of any type of

addiction .It was also pointed out, as it is the case of both countries, that very often the support from parents is very little and sometimes the disposition of the families in order to teach values and to collaborate with the authorities and educational representatives is missing .

It remarked that if the image projected in these two areas is good, the consequences will also be positive..

It was added the role of the school in the prevention and the teacher as a guide and educator.

2) 9.45-10.30 h- Conferencia realizada por el Dr. Krzysztof Chochowski con el tema: las Adicciones entre los Menores.-Expuso el marco legal de atención y protección al menor con adicciones.2) 9.45-10.30 h-Performed by Dr. Krzysztof Chochowski with the issue: Addictions among Minors. -He discussed the legal framework for care and protection of children with addictions.

3)11.00-12.30 h- Exposición realizada por Leszek Roszczenko con el tema: El Alcohol y las Drogas como causas legales de addición y los métodos de prevención.

3) 11.00-12.30 h-Performed by Leszek Roszczenko with the issue: Alcohol and Drugs as legal causes of addiction and some methods of prevention.

-Se habló también de cómo el entorno puede ser favorable para fomentar el consumo a través de Internet, medios de comunicación o la imitación de modelos de vida de personas famosas. Se hizo especial hincapié en la publicidad.

Se comentaron también las posibles causas que inducen a los adolescentes al consumo así como de los trastornos alimenticios como la anorexia o la bulimia.

-Se expusieron también las carencias educativas por parte de los padres debido a su ausencia por no estar mucho tiempo en casa por el trabajo.

-Se señaló también la adicción a los fármacos y de cómo Polonia ocupa el 2º lugar en el ranking mundial después de USA por dispensar medicamentos sin receta.

Debido a la importancia y el rol de educador que juegan los padres en la prevención de adicciones, se comentó que es fundamental que desde las autoridades educativas se den todo tipo de charlas informativas a las familias con el fin de conseguir este objetivo.

He also spoke of how the environment can be conducive to encourage consumption through the Internet, media or the imitation of models of life conducted by famous people. The role of advertising was also highlighted.

He also talked about the possible reasons which encourage consumption among the youth as well as eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia.

He also commented the lack of support given by parents for not being present at home since they spend most of their time working outside. He also remarked how Poland ranks the 2nd place in the world after the U.S.A in selling medicines without being prescribed.

Due to the importance and the role as educators that parents play in the prevention of addictions, he said it is also necessary ,that from the educational authorities, some kind of measures are provided so that parents and families could be better prepared and informed in order to achieve this goal.

16.00h ENCUENTRO Y PRESENTACIÓN DE LAS ACTIVIDADES Y CHARLAS REALIZADAS POR LOS REPRESENTANTES ESPAÑOLES. 16.00 h MEETING AND PRESENTATION OF ACTIVITIES AND LECTURES CONDUCTED BY THE SPANISH REPRESENTATIVES .

1) Exposición de un power point sobre la drogadicción y su prevención contemplado en el currículum de la asignatura de bilogía , realizado por alumnos de 2º de bachillerato y presentado y comentado por la profesora de inglés Blanca Soler.

1) Display of a power point about substances and drugs, their effects and prevention contemplated in the A Level course syllabus of biology done by two A level students and presented and discussed by the English teacher Blanca Soler.

PROYECTO HOMBRE DISPLAY 2) Charla y exposición realizada por Juan Manuel Ferrer, director

de la organización Proyecto Hombre que ayuda en la prevención y rehabilitación de drogadictos y alcohólicos.

2) Lecture and power point presentation by Juan Manuel Ferrer, director of Proyecto Hombre ,organization that helps in the prevention and rehabilitation of drug addicts and alcoholics.

Police report 3)Informe policial sobre el consumo de drogas legales e ilegales y el

modus operandi ante casos de personas que sean vistas consumiendo drogas en la escuela o en la calle ,o bien en posesión o venta de sustancias estupefacientes.

Esta última parte no se pudo realizar debido a falta de tiempo. 3) Police report on legal and illegal consumption performed by the Police

Head Officer of Picaña, Eduardo Avalos García. Explanation about the action plan against people in case they are caught taking drugs at school or in the street ,or in case of possession or sale of narcotic substances.

The last part of this talk couldn´t be performed successfully due to lack of time.

SPANISH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES 4) Exposición de fotos en un power point sobre algunas actividades

hechas por el Instituto Enric Valor de Picaña sobre el tema de la salud y fotos del encuentro entre los representantes polacos y españoles que tuvo lugar en Picaña en febrero de 2013.Debido a la falta de tiempo no se pudieron proyectar todas y se hizo con mucha rapidez.

4) Picture exhibition on some of the activities concerning addictions prevention carried out by the Enric Valor school and pictures of the meeting between the Polish and Spanish representatives in the visit done in February 2013 in Spain;

This was done in a hurry as we ran out of time.
