The dissemination of research results and techniques from Embrapa will trigger new kind of awareness among scientists, researchers, development agents and extension workers in

Africa.

Embrapa SCT will provide around 100 video productions with valuable knowledge and practices on agriculture and related topics

Partners in Africa will put in place 25 multimedia centers accross 4 coutries to allow 3000 farmers to view hundreds of videos, learn at their own speed in their village and apply what they learn to improve their lives. Around 100 researchers, development agents and extension workers will collaborate in the project.

FTA will also provide 20 videos after technician will be trained by Embrapa

Quick overview Partnership and collaborative tools

More than 100 actors (scientists, researchers, development agents and extension workers) from 5 different countries will be involved in this project. The use of web tools will be a new

experience for some ARD workers. Effectiveness, efficiency and performance will be improved.

Web based tools such as the Dgroups, eRails.net and others will be used by the project team and its partners to communicate effectively, to coordinate activities and to disseminate pieces of information and lessons learned from this project.Projects documents, reports, photos, videos, publications communication material are contents among others that will be shared on the platform.
