Introduction
The 4FR0 Edexcel IGCSE in French exam has an oral component which as-sess your ability to communicate in speech, showing knowledge of a range and variety of vocabulary, and applying the grammar and structures of the target language (French). The speaking exam is divided into sections A and B.
Section A: a four minute presentation and discussion based on a single picture from one of the 5 topic areas.
Section B: a six minute conversation based on two of the remaining topic areas.
What is included in this guide? This guide provides you with suggested questions to help you answer the conversation/discussion part of the assessment in one of the topic areas namely topic area A: Home and Abroad.
How to use this guide? Practising answering those questions will definitely give you an edge in the oral exam and writing your answers down will help you gather all your thoughts in one place.
