Succeeding in School Leadership
In recent years school leadership has been identified as one of the key factors in the quality of teaching and by extension learning within a school. As schools develop into evermore complex and dynamic organisations, business and organisational leaders across all divides, have an increasingly important role to play in assisting schools and school leaders to operate optimally. During this ten day event, school leaders will be exposed to innovative leadership ideas and advice from a wide range of viewpoints but the focus of the event will be unwavering, supporting and improving our schools and broader school communities.
Succeeding in School Leadership is about supporting continuous improvement within our schools and school communities
In addition to hearing from a wide range of expert presenters, participants will also benefit from leadership advice and strategy delivered by the NESLI Faculty of Learning. Through a number of facilitated, online discussions, senior NESLI faculty members will further explore key leadership behaviours and provide practical advice on what is required to successfully navigate the myriad situational and cultural challenges experienced in the contemporary school environment. Throughout the event, participants will be frequently invited to reflect on the information in the context of their own work situation to reinforce the practicality of learning outcomes. Participants will also have 24/7 access to an online event space that will feature a library of additional resources and readings expanding upon key event themes and leadership.
