Spend your money on freeing up time,
The key to success
Follow your intellect and your heart and never take NO for an answer
• For a woman to succeed in a man's world she must ignore the social conventions that seperate her from men and ignore the fear of disrupting people's comfort zones, because it is exactly those comfortable conventions that sustain sexist, racists, and all unjust structures in general.
Formula for Calculating the Dynamics of
Professor Rank Composition
• Pfull =Pofull + Passoc(dFfull/dt)xt -dG full/dt
Passoc= Pool size of Associate Professors Pofull = The percentage of Professors in the
Faculty at Time 0dF/dt = turnover rate for the Major FacultydG/dt = the turnover rate of the Minority Group (usually the rate of general faculty)dG= full/dt=(dFfull/dt)xPfullt=time
Formulae for Computing Faculty Changes
• Pfull =Pofull + Passoc(dFfull/dt)xt - dG full/dt
• Passoc=Poassoc+ Passist(dFassoc/dt)xt - dGassoc/dt
• Passist=Poassist + Presidents(dF)xt - dGassist/dt
Baseline Values for Percentage of Female Faculty- and Turnover Rates
