What is University Guidance?

The process of facilitating students to• understand themselves • short list and select programs of study• choose and select a university• complete the application process.

Page 5: Subtitle Internationally Recognized Since 1961 A Flagship Montessori Program To Grade 6 A Welcoming IB World School Grade 7 to 12.

What we do at TMS

To facilitate the application process, we:

• Host university visits• Host information evenings for parents and students• Meet with students individually to get to know their

interests and goals• Track application and progress from grade 10 through

graduation• Provide information for students and assist with their

applications• Provide individual and group assistance with

supplementary applications.

• There is such a vast array of programs. If we do not have the information, we can quickly get this information for you.

Our Goals at TMS

We are very confident in our students and we know that they will get into university. It is important to us that we build their curiosity, self-knowledge and confidence, so our students are happy and successful, for university and beyond. TMS builds the foundation for this through the Montessori Program, IB and 4 pillars.

Our guidance program facilitates this process by knowing each child well and helping them know themselves well. We help them make their life plans, which includes a university education.

The Application

Although the university application is “owned” by the student and family, TMS aims to provide

thorough assistance with this process.

The application and gaining the information for the application is the responsibility of the

student.
