Our history

Chernihiv National University of Technology was established more than 50 years ago, has its own

history and deep traditions.

Half a century of fruitful work of several generations of scholars, teachers and students has led our University in the number of well-known higher technical educational institutions in Ukraine.

CNUT in numbers

• Conducts a multilevel training for almost 60 directions and specialties.

• The annual number of students is more than 10 000 people.

• Almost 100 Doctors and more than 250 Candidates of Science, laureates of the State Prizes, honored workers of science, technology and economy of Ukraine, academicians of specialized scientific academics fruitfully work at the University.

Research

Gifted young people from the first year of study have the opportunity to do their research.

The University has 57 computer classes and 17 laboratories.

Every year hundreds of our students participate in scientific and research activities of the University, take part in scientific and practical conferences, publish scientific papers.

There are many our students who receive scholarships of the President of Ukraine, the Supreme Council, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and others.

Science

The powerful scientific potential of the University shows that CNUT was, is and will be the flagship of the higher education in Chernihiv region.

Priority trends of scientific research: renewable-energy sources, smart-technologies, sustainable development issues, concepts of economic grown, modernization of the legislation, improvement of the ecological situation.

Videosurveillance system on a base of unmanned aerial vehicle

The fields of usage: • Armed Forces;• Security service and

force structure;• State institutions;• Emergence Service;• Local services.

Identification of objects by determined classes.Sizing of objects and distances between them.Semantic description of images and the generation of video and audio support.

Network of GNSS stations in the Northern region of Ukraine

The station is installed on the rout of the educational campus of Engineering-Building Faculty in 2015.The fields of usage: building organizations and exploitation departments.

Support of the unified international coordinate system.Increasing of the accuracy of the coordinates up to 1sm in real time.Increasing of productivity: time for the registration of one point in a few seconds.Availability of the data via the Internet.

The technology of precision electrical contact spot welding

The fields of usage: • devicebuilding, • mechanical

engineering.

Procurement of qualitative welding connections of metallic materials. Strength of connections is on the level of main material.Possibility of nonferrous and their alloys welding.Decline in the prime cost of the production by 1,5-2.

Control System of Solar Battery Power

The fields of usage:• Production enterprises;• Enterprises of Housing and

Utilities;• Private houses.

Accumulator charge with an output voltage of 12 V.Stabilization system of photovoltaic converter power maximum point.Output power of 180 W, possible to increase up to 1000 W.High efficiency of solar emission conversion.Higher efficiency in changing weather conditions in comparison with analogs.

Portable cardiograph-encephalograph

The fields of usage:• Emergency

services;• Medical

institutions.

8 independent investigation`s channels. Small dimensions 120х60х15mm and weight 250g.Connection with smartphone or tablet for signals` image.Speed interfaces USB 2.0, CAN 2.0, Bluetooth.Li-Ion accumulator with automatic recharge from PC (interface USB).

Electronic voting system Mobile-RADA

The fields of usage: regional and local authorities of all levels.

It excludes the need to restructure session halls. Usage of advanced wireless networks and personal tablet computers.Mobility and easiness in the work of council`s deputies.

International Cooperation

CNUT constantly expands its international ties, and is integrating

into the European and World educational and scientific sphere by fulfilling prospective agreements and

contracts.

International Cooperation enables the undergraduates to study at universities of other countries

within various international educational programs.

Our students are actively involved in sport. There are winners of Ukrainian, European and Worlds championships,

and also Olympic champions. Our representatives are members of

the All-Ukrainian Student Council, Youth Council at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and other

student movements and organizations.
