A Request for Assistance in Obtaining Promrty1 in the ovnvine Area

j Rationale:

ne Charlotte Conmgauons of Jehovah's Witnesses are growingl very rapidly. Since 1988, six new congregations form ed, tw o of these

in the inner city area. n e Greenville Congregation, and an adjacent

group, the Brxkshire Congmgation, both now share Kingdom HallsI (meeting facilities) ouuide of tlleir service territories (Item 1).n Is places a burden on the m em bers of each congregation, since m any

demnd on publlc transportation (ltem 2). ne Charlotte Area congregatlons,1 worklng togelec are committed to help lese two congregauons build aK lngdom H all w lthln one of thelr sem ce areu A ccom phshing thls allow s

j both to share a faclllty nearby and on readlly accesslble publlc transportation.A Kingdom Hall in the Greenvlllle area will help ellmlnate these constrainl.

I Background on Jehovah's witnesses and how a Kingdom Hall inG reenw lle w ill benes t the com m um ty'

1 Jehovah's witnesses share the message of tlle Kingdom hom form anz nd. but also acquaint interested m rsons w ith tile high m oral principles

set out in the Blble. Aiding interested mrsons to apply these high standards1 in tlwtr uves not only lwlps the individual, but % nefits the entire com m unity.

M any m rsons find that studying the Bible w ith Jehovah's W itnesses bring about

j a change for the better in their mrsonal and family life.

By teaching the Bible to interested yrsons in these areas, Jehovah'sI wltnesses help many to sbow promr resmct for tbeir msrriage. c luldren are

trained in right princlples w hich contributes to less delinquency, im m orahty

and cnme within the community. Family umty, and ultimately neighborhte1 subility are aclueved

j A b1g problem plagulng communities (and nations) is racial prejudlce.Among Iehovah's Wltnosses, one R nds m ople of 1 1 races, natm nahties

and colors workng and lwing in mace and umty.IW e sincerely belleve that bulldlng a K m gdom hall in the G reenville area

would contribute to the stabllization of the commumty. Additionally, this1 would attract some of the wztnesses who have moved out of tlle Greenville Areabecause of the inablllty to w orship nearby.
