"Self control doesn’t come from controlling our feelings

but from feeling our feelings."

MEANING

The term subconscious is used in many different contexts and has no single or precise definition. This greatly limits its significance as a meaning-bearing concept, and in consequence the word tends to be avoided in academic and scientific settings.

In everyday speech and popular writing, however, the term is very commonly encountered. There it will be employed to refer to a supposed 'layer' or 'level' of mention (or/and perception) located in some sense 'beneath' conscious awareness -- though, again, the notion's dependence upon informal 'folk-psychological' models that remain vague means that the precise nature and properties of this 'underlying' layer are either never made explicit or possess an ad hoc quality. At different times, references to the 'subconscious' as an agency may credit it with various abilities and powers that exceed those possessed by consciousness: the 'subconscious' may apparently remember, perceive and determine things beyond the reach or control of the conscious mind. The idea of the 'subconscious' as a powerful or potent agency has allowed the term to become prominent in the New Age and self-help literatures, in which investigating or controlling its supposed knowledge or power is seen as advantageous. The 'subconscious' may also be supposed to contain (thanks to the influence of the psychoanalytic tradition) any number of primitive or otherwise disavowed instincts, urges, desires and thoughts.

The word 'subconscious' is an anglicized version of the French subconscient as coined by the psychologist Pierre Janet. Janet himself saw the subconscient as active in hypnotic suggestion and as an area of the psyche to which ideas would be consigned through a process that involved a 'splitting' of the mind and a restriction of the field of consciousness.

Whenever your conscious and subconscious are in conflict, your subconscious invariably wins

The Mind

Consider your as mind a computer -- except you are only using your mind to record and process information. But it is capable of doing so much more. If you know how to use your mind correctly you can create everything you want in life. The only problem is that no one ever taught you how to use your mind. Those that are successful use the power of their mind everyday -- they just don't tell you how.

Someone at some point in your life taught you how to use a computer -- even if it was basic knowledge -- you received some instruction.

Just like a computer the mind relies on other components to make it work -- mainly the subconscious. In order to get the most out of your mind you need to know how to use the right techniques to unleash its full power -- so that it works in connection with your subconscious mind, your spirit and the universe.

All your life you have been taught how to do things. You have been taught how to walk, talk, read, writes, etc. But no one ever taught you how to use the power of your mind and subconscious mind.

“We possess within us a force of incalculable power, which if we direct in a wise manner, gives us mastery of ourselves. It permits us not only to escape from physical and mental ills, but also to live in relative happiness.”

What is the conscious mind?

The conscious mind is the part of your mind that is responsible for logic and reasoning. When I ask you about the sum of three and four, it's your conscious mind that you use to get the addition done. When you decide to take any voluntary action like moving your hand or leg, it is done by the conscious mind. So, whenever you are aware of the thing you're doing or want to do, it's done

with your conscious mind; whenever there's logic or reasoning to be done, you use your conscious mind.

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious mind is the part of your mind responsible for all of your involuntary actions like emotions, your heart be at or your breathing rate. Your subconscious mind is also the storage room of all your beliefs and memories. That’s why changing beliefs and unwanted emotions can be done through hypnosis; sending suggestions to the subconscious mind.

“Once an idea has been accepted by the subconscious mind, it remains until it is replaced by another idea.”

THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

Your subconscious mind is an incredible power that you have yet to develop and use to its full potential.

Your subconscious mind creates everything in your life based on the messages

and information you send to it. You are constantly sending messages and

information to your subconscious mind and 90% of those messages are useless or

are working against you. Then you wonder why things never get better no matter

how hard you try.

Your messages to your subconscious mind are your thoughts, beliefs and actions.

So if you constantly worry about not having enough money -- you'll never have

enough money. It's that simple. If you don't think you're capable of accomplishing

your goals -- you'll never accomplish any of them. If you don't think there are

enough opportunities for you -- you'll never find the right opportunity. If you

don't think you can get ahead in life -- you'll never get ahead in life. If you think

you're overweight -- you'll always be overweight. If you don't think you can --

then you never will. Why? Because you’re subconscious mind is always working

on the information you send it -- and if that information is negative then you will

only have a negative reality.

How does it do this? Once your subconscious mind gets your message it then

connects with the people and events that will help create the situation based on

your message. So if you think it is difficult to make money then your subconscious

mind will go out and draw you to people and events to you that will make it

difficult for you to make money.

Understand that your subconscious mind does not have a moral clause. It does

not say that the message you are sending is good for you so let's create that. It

does not say that the message you are sending is bad for you so let's not to do

that. It does not distinguish between what is good for you and what is bad for

you. It will only go out and create your reality based on the message you send.

It's important to understand that your messages to your subconscious mind are

not just your thoughts! Everything you do, say and believe is picked up by your

subconscious mind. So just because you start thinking you can -- that doesn't

mean that things will miraculously change overnight. In order to get your

subconscious mind to create the changes you want -- then you need to create a

new way of living. And the first thing you have to do is get your mind working for

you.

“When dealing with the subconscious mind and its

functions, the greater the conscious effort, the less the

subconscious response.”

The marvelous power of subconscious mind

The Sub-conscious Mind

Once you learn to release the hidden power of your subconscious mind, you can

bring into your life more power, more happiness, more wealth and more joy.

You do not need to acquire this power, you already posses it. But you should

know how to release it and use it. You must understand it so that you can apply it

in all departments of your life.

Within your subconscious depths lay infinite wisdom, infinite, power, an infinite

supply of all that is necessary. It is waiting there for you to give it development

and expression. If you begin it now to recognize these potentialities of your

deeper mind, they will take form in the world without.

Provided you are open-minded and receptive, the infinite intelligence within your

subconscious mind can reveal to you everything you need to know at every

moment of time and point of space. You can receive new thoughts and ideas,

bring fourth new inventions, make new discoveries and create new work of arts.

The infinite intelligence in your subconscious can give you access to wonderful

new kind of knowledge.

Through the wisdom of your subconscious mind, you can attract the ideal

companion, as well the right business associate or partner. It can show you how

to get all the money you need and give you the financial freedom to be, to do,

and to go as your heart desires.

It is your right to discover this inner world of thought, feelings, and power, of

light, love and beauty. Though invisible its forces are mighty. Within your

subconscious mind you will find the solution for every problem and the cause for

every effect. Once you learn to draw out this inner power, you come into actual

possession of the power and wisdom necessary to move forward in abundance,

security, joy and dominion. There is a miraculous curative force in your

subconscious that can heal the trouble mind the broken heart. It can open the

prison door of the mind and liberate you. It can free you from all kings of material

and physical bondage.

“Once an idea has been accepted by the subconscious

mind, it remains until it is replaced by another idea.”

The Conscious and the Sub-conscious

A wonderful way to begin getting to know the two functions of your minds is to

think of it is as a garden. You are the gardener. You are planting seeds of thought

in your subconscious mind all day long. Much of the time you are not aware of

doing so, because the seeds are based on your habitual thinking. As you sow in

your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.

When your mind thinks correctly, when you understand the truth, when the

thoughts deposited in your subconscious mind are constructive, harmonious and

peaceful, and the magic working power of your subconscious will respond. It will

bring about harmonious conditions, agreeable surroundings, and the best of

everything. Once you begin to control your thoughts processes, you can apply the

power the power of your subconscious to any problem or difficulty. You will

actually be consciously co-operating with the infinite power and omnipotent law

that governs all things.

Once you learn the truth about the interaction of your conscious and

subconscious mind, you will be able to transform your whole life. If you want to

change external conditions you must change the cause. Most people try to

change conditions and circumstances by working on those conditions and

circumstances. This is a terrible waste of time and effort. They fail to see that

their conditions flow from a cause. To remove discord, confusion lack, and

limitation from life, you must remove the cause. That cause is the way you use

your conscious mind, the thoughts and images you encourage in it. Change the

thought and you change the effect. It is just that simple.

We all live in an unfathomable sea of infinite riches. Your subconscious is very

sensitive to your conscious thoughts. Those conscious thoughts form the matrix

through which the infinite intelligence, wisdom, vital force, and energies of your

subconscious flows. Shape the matrix in a more positive direction and you

redirect those infinite energies to your greater benefits.

Most of the great scientists, artists, poets, singers, writers and inventors have

had a deep understanding of the working of the conscious and the subconscious

mind. It was this that gave them the power to accomplish their goals.

How To Get The Subconscious To Work For You.

The first thing to realize is that your subconscious mind is always working. It is active

night and day, whether you act upon it or not.

Your subconscious is the builder of your body, but you cannot consciously perceive or

hear that inner silent process. Your business is with your conscious mind and not your

subconscious mind.

Just keep your mind conscious mind busy with the expectation of the best, and make

sure the thoughts you habitually think are based on things that are lovely, true, just

and harmonious. Begin now to take care of your conscious mind, knowing in your

heart and soul that your subconscious mind is always expressing, reproducing, and

manifesting according to your habitual thinking.

Remember, just as water takes the shape of the pipe it flows through, the life

of principle in you flows through you according to the nature of your thoughts. Claim

that the healing presence in your subconscious is flowing through you as harmony,

health, peace, joy, and abundance. Think of it as a living intelligence, a lovely

companion on the way. Firmly believe it is continually flowing through you vivifying,

inspiring, and prospering you. It will respond exactly this way. It is done unto you as

you believe.

USING THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND IN BUSINESS

Case study

Some years ago I gave a lecture to a group of business executives on the powers

of imagination and the subconscious mind. In the course of the lecture, I

described how the great German poet Goethe used his imagination wisely when

confronted with difficulties and predicaments.

According to Goethe’s biographers he was accustomed to filling many

hours quietly holding imaginary conversation. He would imagine one of his friends

sitting across from him, answering him in the right way. In other words, if he were

concerned over any problems, he imagined his friend giving him the right or

appropriate answer, accompanied with his usual gestures and tonal qualities of

the voice. He made the entire imaginary scene as real and as vivid as possible.

One of the people present at this lecture was a young stock-broker. She

proceeded to adopt the technique of Goethe. She began to have imaginary

conversations with a multimillionaire investor who knew her and had once

congratulated her on her wise and sound judgment in recommending stocks. She

dramatized this imaginary conversation until she had psychologically fixed it as a

form of belief in her mind.

This broker’s inner talking and controlled imagination certainly agreed

with her aim, which was to make sound investment for her clients. Her main

purpose in life was to make money for her clients and to see them prosper

financially by her wise counsel. She is still using her subconscious mind in her

business, and she is a brilliant success in her field. She was recently interviewed in

an article in a major financial magazine.

The first thing to realize is that your subconscious mind is always working. It is

active night and day, whether you act upon it or not.

Your subconscious is the builder of your body, but you cannot consciously

perceive or hear that inner silent process. Your business is with your conscious

mind and not your subconscious mind.

Just keep your mind conscious mind busy with the expectation of the best, and

make sure the thoughts you habitually think are based on things that are lovely,

true, just and harmonious. Begin now to take care of your conscious mind,

knowing in your heart and soul that your subconscious mind is always expressing,

reproducing, and manifesting according to your habitual thinking.

Remember, just as water takes the shape of the pipe it flows through, the life of

principle in you flows through you according to the nature of your thoughts. Claim

that the healing presence in your subconscious is flowing through you as

harmony, health, peace, joy, and abundance. Think of it as a living intelligence, a

lovely companion on the way. Firmly believe it is continually flowing through you

vivifying, inspiring, and prospering you. It will respond exactly this way. It is done

unto you as you believe.

Your Subconscious is your book of life.

Whatever thoughts, beliefs, opinions, theories, or dogmas you write, engrave or

impress on your subconscious mind, you will experience them as the objective

manifestation of circumstances, conditions, and events. What you write on the

inside, you will experience on the outside. You have two sides to your life,

objective and subjective, visible and invisible, thought and its manifestation.

Your thought is received as a pattern of neural firing in your cerebral

cortex, which is the organ of your conscious reasoning mind. Once your conscious

or objective mind accepts the thought completely, it is transmitted to the older

parts of the brain, where it becomes flesh and is made manifest in your

experience.

As previously outlined, your subconscious cannot argue. Its acts only

from what you write on it.

Its accepts your verdict or the conclusions of your conscious mind as final. This is

why you are always writing on the book of life, because your thoughts become

your experiences. The American philosopher, Ralph Waldo Emersons, said, “Man is

what he thinks all day long”.

Our Life – The Reflection of Sub-conscious Mind

Our subconscious mind is the mind beneath or beyond conscious awareness. The subconscious mind stores all of the information we obtain throughout our lives. The conscious mind is what we use in every day life while we are awake, pulling bits and pieces of subconscious information out as we need it. We all use our subconscious and conscious minds together to forecast, the estimation of unknown situations, or to predict the future. Anyone can forecast or predict that if there are dark clouds approaching in the sky and the winds are picking up that it will most likely rain in the near future. We know this because of things we have learned. We were not born knowing this. We were taught this. But because this information is so elementary, we take this information for granted and do not realize that we are pulling this information out of our supplemental database or our subconscious mind. Our dreams are a total internal reflection of our subconscious mind while we sleep. The images presented in our dreams are distorted similar to the unnatural bend of light in total internal reflection; therefore, need to be interpreted. An jewel Eye [link can help you understand your dreams. Though dream interpretation is only the beginning to understanding our angelic world. Please help support the development of the Anjewel Eye community designed to help you understand how our subconscious and conscious worlds collide, not only for ourselves but with others as well, to lead us down the correct paths in life.

Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds.

Not everyone accepts or believes in positive thinking. Some consider the subject as just nonsense, and others scoff at people who believe and accept it. Among the people who accept it, not many know how to use it effectively to get results. Yet, it seems that many are becoming attracted to this subject, as evidenced by the many books, lectures and courses about it. This is a subject that is gaining popularity.

It is quite common to hear people say: "Think positive!", to someone who feels down and worried. Most people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what they really mean, or do not consider them as useful and effective. How many people do you know, who stop to think what the power of positive thinking means?

Positive and negative thinking are both contagious.

All of us affect, in one way or another, the people we meet. This happens instinctively and on a subconscious level, through thoughts and feelings transference, and through body language. People sense our aura and are affected by our thoughts, and vice versa. Is it any wonder that we want to be around positive people and avoid negative ones? People are more disposed to help us if we are positive, and they dislike and avoid anyone broadcasting negativity.

Negative thoughts, words and attitude bring up negative and unhappy moods and actions. When the mind is negative, poisons are released into the blood, which cause more unhappiness and negativity. This is the way to failure, frustration and disappointment.

Case study

Allan applied for a new job, but as his self-esteem was low, and he considered himself as a failure and unworthy of success, he was sure that he was not going to get the job. He had a negative attitude towards himself, and believed that the other applicants were better and more qualified than him. Allan manifested this attitude, due to his negative past experiences with job interviews.

His mind was filled with negative thoughts and fears concerning the job for the whole week before the job interview. He was sure he would be rejected. On the day of the interview he got up late, and to his horror he discovered that the shirt he had planned to wear was dirty, and the other one needed ironing. As it was already too late, he went out wearing a shirt full of wrinkles.

During the interview he was tense, displayed a negative attitude, worried about his shirt, and felt hungry because he did not have enough time to eat breakfast. All this distracted his mind and made it difficult for him to focus on the interview. His overall behavior made a bad impression, and consequently he materialized his fear and did not get the job.

Jim applied for the same job too, but approached the matter in a different way. He was sure that he was going to get the job. During the week preceding the interview he often visualized himself making a good impression and getting the job.

In the evening before the interview he prepared the clothes he was going to wear, and went to sleep a little earlier. On day of the interview he woke up earlier than usual, and had ample time to eat breakfast, and then to arrive to the interview

before the scheduled time. He got the job because he made a good impression. He had also of course, the proper qualifications for the job, but so had Allan.

What do we learn from these two stories? Is there any magic employed here? No, it is all natural. When the attitude is positive we entertain pleasant feelings and constructive images, and see in our mind's eye what we really want to happen. This brings brightness to the eyes, more energy and happiness. The whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success. Even the health is affected in a beneficial way. We walk tall and the voice is more powerful. Our body language shows the way you feel inside.

Conclusion

What can we conclude and gain from this?

We need to appreciate that man cannot always act based on well thought out mature arguments. His action depends on some very illogical conclusions. So if you find someone behaving funny or inconsistent, please understand that the person is not acting out of choice but is driven. Understand that this applies to you too, as you are no different from the others. So to judge a person based on just one or two actions is very wrong. Since you do not know what the circumstances are under which a person behaves the way he does, it will be good to take a little lenient view of the people and not make adverse judgments of people we meet. Let us assume that people are good by default unless proved otherwise beyond doubt.
