The agreement covers work to be done and sets expectations regarding that work. Violations of this agreement may lead to legal consequences.

1. Contract Price

This agreement guarantees the Subcontractor a payment of RM 4500 for the work to be done. In cases of additional labor, the Subcontractor will be granted additional pay and will have the right to negotiate the amount. The total amount due will be paid upon completion of the work, with a deposit of RM1500 in place before the work is begun. Failure to meet requirements (stated in xxx) will result in forfeiture of RM1500 by the Subcontractor. Delay of completing of work will result in deduction of payment by RM 100 for the first day and RM200 for subsequent days.

2. Scope

The work to be performed by Subcontractor is limited in nature. It covers exactly and precisely the following duties: Water Pipe Installation, Installation of drinking water fountain, checking for pipe leaks after completion. The method by which these duties are performed, insofar as the

methods are safe and legal, will be at the discretion of the Subcontractor, except for the specific forbidden methods: using of lead pipes.

All materials for this work will be provided by Tsang Hao Ren (The Contractor), equipment are to be provided by The Subcontractor. The Subcontractor will be responsible for providing labor and managing the project as stated above.

The work performed will be of a certain standard in order to be considered acceptable. These standards are explicitly outlined in the description of the project provided to the Subcontractor, but generally include:

a) Piping of less than 750mm and not more than 1350mm unless in a duct.

b) Taps to which hoses are, or may be, connected are to be protected against backflow by means of a double check valve.

c) The drinking water tap shall be supplied with water from:1. a supply pipe2. a pump delivery pipe drawing water from a supply pipe3. a distributing pipe drawing water exclusively from a storage cistern supplying

wholesome water.

d) Water pressureWe must supply water at a sufficient pressure so that you can fill a 1.5 litre container in 30 seconds.

Failure to meet these requirements will result in forfeiture of RM1500 by the Subcontractor.

3. Time/ Schedule

It is understood that the work will be started on 22 July 2013 and will be completed within 10 August 2013. If unforeseen circumstances prevent the safe and effective completion of the work, extensions will be discussed but are not guaranteed. If delays are not remedied within 30 days, the General Contractor will have the right to withhold payment, unless the delays are caused by forces within the control of the General Contractor.

4. Legal Issues

If legal disputes arise, the case must be arbitrated by an independent entity qualified for this position. The fees for arbitration will be paid by the party deemed in the wrong, and all charges will be voluntarily submitted once arbitration is complete.

By signing this agreement, both the Subcontractor and the General Contractor are agreeing to all terms above.
