2018 ARREST SUMMARY: ALL ARRESTS

Officers made a total of 2,486 arrests throughout the year of 2018. This was an increase of 470 arrests from 2017 in which 2,016 arrests were made by officers. A total of 1,973 arrests were made in 2016. Arrests include warrant or summons

requests, juvenile petitions, parking tickets, persons cited or physically taken into custody.

A total of 329 juveniles were arrested by the Sturgis Police Department in 2018. During the previous year (2017), 255 juveniles were arrested and there were 232 juvenile arrests in 2016. Arrests include warrant or summons requests, juvenile

petitions, parking tickets, persons cited or physically taken into custody.
