The quality of STUMBRAS vodka is constantly monitored and tested by STUMBRAS experts during the whole production process. Therefore an inclusion is placed inside each bottle of STUMBRAS vodka as the symbol of commitment and manual work that is used in producing this vodka.

The inclusions in STUMBRAS vodkas are totally natural, wheat and rye are grown under strict control in territory of Nemunas bends regional park and the bison grass is collected in wild forests – this is the reflection of our policy to use only natural ingredients of the highest class and purity, without any compromises to quality.

The wheat stalks for STUMBRAS CENTENARY and the rye for STUMBRAS RYE BREAD are grown in a selected farm located in Nemunas river bends National Park, which is located in one of the most beautiful places of Lithuania. This region is famous for its pure nature and mineral water resorts. The industry is strictly limited in the region to preserve this purity. This is the reflection of our policy to use only natural ingredients of the highest class and purity, without any compromises to quality.

Created to celebrate the Centennial anniversary of STUMBRAS distillery, STUMBRAS CENTENARY is produced according to the classic vodka production methods, combined with the most advanced STUMBRAS technologies. Initially STUMBRAS CENTENARY was launched as a limited edition vodka, but because of huge success, the production of this exceptionally smooth and rich tasting vodka continues.Since launch in 2006, STUMBRAS CENTENARY has won a number of prestigious awards:Drinks International Vodka Challenge (February 2007, UK) – Bronze medal;Alcoholic Beverages Tasting Contest at Prodexpo (March 2007, Russia) – Gold medal;San Francisco World Spirits Competition (April 2007, USA) – Silver medal.The quality of STUMBRAS vodka is constantly tested by STUMBRAS experts during the whole production process. Therefore a wheat stalk, which embodies the wheat spirit from which the vodka is made, is placed inside each bottle of STUMBRAS CENTENARY. The stalks are cut one by one manually of the required length. Then they are kept in special vaults for 4 weeks, to become neutral and not add any flavor or color to vodka.

The rye we use in STUMBRAS RYE BREAD is grown in a specially selected farm located in Nemunas river Bends Regional Park.

Since middle ages home made rye-bread was a part of Lithuanian culture and a symbol of goodwill, luck and hospitality.STUMBRAS RYE BREAD is produced from STUMBRAS vodka and a few drops of natural rye-bread extract. The bread for the extract is baked specially for STUMBRAS. The taste and quality of STUMBRAS RYE BREAD was recognized in local and international competitions:• Product of the Year contest (December 2007, Lithuania) – Gold medal;• San Francisco World Spirits Competition (March 2008) – Silver medal.

STUMBRAS RYE-BREAD contains an extract of fresh Lithuanian rye bread. The bread for the extract is baked in a small bakery according to the old traditions, without adding any flavorings. Preparation of the bread extract takes over one month to be ready for adding to vodka.Some rye grain of which the bread for the extract is baked, is placed manually inside each bottle of STUMBRAS RYE BREAD. The grains are kept in special vaults for 4 weeks, to become neutral and not add any flavor or color to the vodka.

The bison grass blades we use in STUMBRAS BISON GRASS vodka are collected in wild forests of Lithuania, where they naturally grow.

STUMBRAS BISON GRASS vodka is produced according to the traditions of 16th century, when it was popular to add a blade of bison grass to vodka to make its taste more smooth.Today we add a few drops of bison grass extract to STUMBRAS BISON GRASS vodka to reach the fullness of its taste and aroma.The taste and quality of STUMBRAS BISON GRASS vodka was recently recognized in San Francisco World Spirits Competition (March 2008) where it was awarded a Silver medal.

STUMBRAS BISON GRASS vodka contains an extract of wild bison grass. The grass for the extract is gathered in wilderness. It takes more then three weeks to prepare the perfectly balanced extract for adding to vodka. Therefore a blade of bison grass is placed manually inside each bottle. The blades are specially prepared not to add any flavour or colour to vodka.
