4 Weeks-June
Metro Mid-week is back in full swing. This past week we took some time learning how to study our Bibles. Join us this week as we put it into practice. You will be blessed. Wednesdays at 7 pm.
Metro Summer Concerts: Tonight at 7:30 pm we will be blessed by The Lesser Light Collective as they share original songs about Daniel and Revelation. Their unique approach to these prophetic twins is a real blessing to all who hear. The concert is free, a love offering will be taken. Next Sabbath at 11:00 am we will be blessed with a special divine service concert with Naomi Striemer. Naomi once chased a promising career in secular music until the Lord spoke through a chauffeur in New York and changed her life. Come here this amazing testimony and some wonderful music as Naomi shares with us. A love offering will be collected at the end of the service.
Marriage Builders final presentation will be Friday, July 7th at 7 pm You will not want to miss the exciting conclusion of our series as we discuss the "Family Crazy Circle." Come learn, fellowship, and build your marriage with us!
All-Church Picnic: Next Sabbath, July 8th, we will have an all-church picnic here on the church grounds over by the school ball field. All are invited to come and join in the fun and fellowship. It will be picnic style, so please bring the food your family will eat. This is not a potluck style meal. Also, bring your guitar, uke, or violin for some musical fun too!
Prayer Request: Please pray fervently for Kim Gissendanner, Shirley Brezzell, and Paul Castella from Metro and the Maranatha Group in Nairobi, Kenya. We expect to be home July 11, God willing. Thank you for your prayers, Kim Gissendanner.
VBS Donations: VBS Funding is needed. Please prayerfully consider what you can donate and mark your Tithe Envelope “VBS”. Thank you for supporting Vacation Bible School. Your donations are very much appreciated.
VBS Props & Registration: Props are due by Thursday, July 5. Thank you to all of you that are making props for VBS. Parents, please go online and register your child(ren) and friends for VBS. www.metrosdachurch.org/events
