Students mostly have exposure to English language in their
English classes in the high school
Students and teachers consider that the learning process is
adequate and fulfills their expectations.
There is not a specific text that includes all the contents
required in the MEP program for the technical career
executive for customer service.
CONCLUSIONS
The gender, age are not significant factors that influence in
the professors when doing research for didactic materials;
besides the English knowledge is taken into consideration.
Students consider the materials used in the class are easy to
understand, useful for studying; interesting and nice.
Students consider that their teacher’s way to teach is
appropriate for them.
CONCLUSIONS
The MEP program is an useful tool for teaching but needs
improvement.
The teachers use photocopies and material to teach and do not
use frequently games or technological resources.
There is a well equipped English lab; but the lack of internet and
desktops in good conditions restricts the use of this resource.
A single lab becomes unsufficient to supply the demand of
English teachers.
CONCLUSIONS
Use the background of students as an opportunity to find
innovative ways to transmit their knowledge creating a
meaningful learning.
It is necessary to use specific material according to the
contents and objectives of the MEP program
The teachers of the Technical High School Vázquez de
Coronado could communicate with editorials and MEP that
could be disposed to design a specific book for the specialty
Executive Customer Service
RECOMMENDATIONS
Teachers must use non traditional didactic materials to
improve the learning process; as realia, radio, voice recorders,
TV or DVD.
Ministry of Public Education should provide materials to
teachers of the specialty Executive for Customer Service to
unify the teaching criteria based on the market demands .

To develop a didactic proposal adapted to the needs of
the educational community in order to facilitate the
teaching and learning process.
