DESIGN YOUR OWN PROGRAMYou can study for one semester or two semesters at Western Sydney University. You can design your own program from the units available at Western Sydney University that suit your preferences and degree requirements. Three or four unit study abroad packages are available each semester.

NEED SOME EXTRA ENGLISH LANGUAGE TUITION BEFORE YOU START YOUR STUDIES?Western Sydney University offers preliminary English language tuition, through its English language partner institution ‘The College’. This option is available if you do not quite meet the University’s English language requirements.

WANT TO DO AN INTERNSHIP?Study Abroad students can also apply to undertake an unpaid internship supervised by a Western Sydney University academic or professional staff member. This program offers student the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience in a cross-cultural setting.

STUDY ABROAD PLUS ACCOMMODATION AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE This package is ideal for students who do not quite meet Western Sydney University English language requirements.

English language programs are taught at ‘The College’ Westmead campus, located close to bus and rail services, cafes, banks, medical centres and shops. The campus is a short train ride from Parramatta station. The campus facilities include lecture and tutorial rooms, computer labs, Internet access, academic and social support services, sporting facilities, food outlets, student common room and prayer rooms.

PENRITH CAMPUS

Penrith is a city on the western fringe of the Sydney metropolitan area and located at the foot of the Blue Mountains on the spectacular Nepean River.

Western Sydney University is a major facet of the Penrith region, and it attracts students from all over Sydney and around the world. The 158-hectare Penrith campus occupies two large sites in the adjacent Western Sydney suburbs of Kingswood and Werrington, and is 60-90 minutes from the Sydney Central Business District by train or car. The campuses of Kingswood and Werrington are divided by the Great Western Highway. They are linked by a free shuttle bus service from Kingswood train station that services the campus continually throughout the day and provides easy access to libraries, computer centres, student services, cafés, bars and sporting venues.

PARRAMATTA CAMPUS

The Parramatta campus has two main sites, Parramatta North and South and the new Parramatta CBD campus.

Parramatta North and South are a combination of heritage and contemporary buildings, located a short ten minute bus ride from the major commercial and retail centre of Parramatta. This campus is next to Rydalmere train station and can also be accessed by a regular bus service operating from Parramatta train station. The Parramatta campus is a heritage site and contains some of the oldest buildings in New South Wales. It has been beautifully restored into an attractive, friendly learning environment with state of the art facilities and green open spaces.

Parramatta City Campus is an extension of Parramatta campus and provides a dynamic and student-centred location in the heart of bustling Parramatta – the State’s second largest Central Business District.

The Parramatta City campus is home to the Sydney Graduate School of Management (SGSM), which gives students the benefit of proximity to local businesses, law firms and not-for-profit organisations.

In addition to creating closer community and business connections, the campus gives students and staff easy access to the Parramatta Transport Interchange, retail and food outlets, civic recreation areas and multi-level car parks.
