Our Experience with MS&L London

Experience with MS&L London Our association with MS&L London started on a trial basis from April

2009 onwards. The association was on a Project-based approach The first assignment was to develop Credential Booklet / Document

for British Airways Pitch. We completed it successfully and MS&L

London selected for 2nd Round of Pitch Subsequently, we continued working on this model and worked on 12

different projects (including two projects for their clients) After successful trial of two months, we mutually decided to switch to

a retainer-based approach. The overall feedback from the London office is excellent and we are

continuing the association with great pride

Scope of Work with MS&L London All internal design assignments (including new business (Local) and

marketing documents) for MS&L London are covered under this agreement (mainly brochures, booklets, powerpoint presentations / templates, PDF/word document, E-mailers, etc.)

Readymade Text Matter (Copy) is being provided by the London Team for the design purpose.

Output format can be In-design files, Powerpoint, Word, JPEGS, PDFs, etc.

The agreement does not cover any type of digital work like web banners, web pages, websites/microsites, animation or video work. This is on a chargeable basis.

The agreement does not cover Clients’ assignments that MS&L London undertakes for the Clients and is on a chargeable basis

Modus Operandi with MS&L London Pankaj Desai is in-charge of all their assignment and he is supported

by a team of client servicing executive for co-ordination and support design team including a Sr. Graphic Designer and Graphic Designer

Kate Steele, Director, New Business Development and her colleague Maud Broda, Executive, New Business Development are in-charge from their end

The Design Team in India works from Mondays to Fridays for MS&L London and is available till 9 pm IST daily

The Design Team is also available for work on beyond routine hours and Saturdays local time, if agreed in advance and depending on the urgency of the assignment

A list of Public Holidays in India was also submitted to London team which helps both the teams to plan the work in a better way. Only in case of extreme emergency, Hanmer MS&L team is available to work during Public Holidays or Sundays.

Modus Operandi with MS&L London MS&L London team uses a set Design Briefing Form and Job Code

System, i.e. a job number is mentioned in the said form. No design work is carried out unless there is a job code included in the briefing document.

All the job requests by London Team members are also marked to Kate / Maud for their record purpose.

The receipt of all briefs is acknowledged by Hanmer MS&L team via email on the same working day. In this acknowledgement e-mail, the Hanmer MS&L Team either agree to the deadline of the brief or discuss an alternative deadline with the London Contact

Any questions / clarifications requested by Hanmer MS&L Design Team is being responded by the London Contact within the same working day

Experience with MS&L London We work for a retainer fee of GBP 2000 per month for a period of one

year starting June 17, 2009. Earlier, MS&L London used to spend GBP3000 per month for

outsourcing similar creative assignments from local designers It’s a win-win situation for both the offices.
