Its Childs Play: Preparing Children for a Portrait Session
From the moment that you contact us for a customized photoshoot you can expect to be our top priority. Studio V offers a comfortable family enviroment where good old fashioned Southern hospitality overflows. Your experience begins with a pre-shoot consultation, in person, by phone, or Skype where we will have a chance to discuss wardrobe options and interests so that we can capture the best images for you. Your session begins with refreshments, a chance to meet with the stylist, and a chat so we can get to know one another before we pick up the camera. A little music and away we go! Before you know it you will be laughing and The shoot will be over! At the end of the shoot we will book a time for you to come back and experience your private image presentation. This is usually about a week to ten days from the day of the shoot. This is when you will place your order so be sure to invite anyone that will be helping you decide but rest assured we will be with you to help you narrow down your choices and get exactly what you want.
Our studio is infused with a touch of Southern hospitality, a bit of Northern ingenuity, and a dash of New Mexican passion for originality.

Its Childs Play
Children grow and change so quickly when they are young. A professional portrait is a wonderful way of capturing their looks and mannerisms at the moment. As a mother of two grown sons, it seems the early year images become more precious over time.
Children grow and change so quickly when they are young. A professional portrait is a wonderful way of capturing their looks and mannerisms at the moment. As a mother of two grown sons and one teenage daughter, it seems the early year images become more precious over time. There are a number of tips to keep in mind when preparing for a photo session so it will be a great experience for both the child and parent, and of course produce great results.Making the AppointmentWhen calling to make an appointment, think about your childs schedule. When are they the most alert and fun? Schedule when they are well fed and rested for best results.ClothingThere will be plenty of time for clothing changes during you session. Take ad-vantage of it and bring four to six outfits for your children. Think about what you are going to do with the finished images. Keep in mind that if you think you might want a wall grouping it might be a good idea to color cordinate the clothing options. PropsBring items that are special to your child or family. Do they have a favorite toy, blanket or chair? Familiar items can help put children at ease and are a part of who they are at that age. Most importantly, be sure to have fun and enjoy the experience. The images will surely bring you pleasure for years to come.
