Quality and ReliabilityThe MGS1400 is designed for one thing – to provide quiet, reliable power. Valid Manufacturing has used top-quality components to build a solid generator that will get the job done. At the core of the MGS1400 is a 279HP CumminsTM diesel engine powering a Marathon alternator. A variable speed hydraulic fan and an oversize radiator provide cooling as needed under varying loads.

Both internal and external structures are powder coated to provide protection against rust. The housing is a one-piece lightweight welded assembly that is easily removed for engine or alternator replacements. The generator mounting brackets use an indus-try-standard boltdown pattern that allows for universal mounting to other vehicles.

One of the biggest issues with generators is noise. The MGS1400 has been designed to be as quiet as possible – sounding in at less than 55 decibels at 7 meters. This is accomplished with the use of premium insulation along with a hospital-grade silencer.

Oversize doors provide increased access for maintenance and in-spection of all interior components. All doors are equipped with gas springs, pour-in-place gaskets, double-sealing, and come with lockable handles. Programmable timed LED lights illuminate the interior and electrical panels.

The MGS1400 provides power though a variety of connections - Joy receptacles, ball-nose camlock receptacles, two 20A receptacles, and a ground rod connection point. Distribution panels can be cus-tomized to suit individual needs.

The state-of-the-art Deep Sea programmable con-troller is specifically designed for generator engine control applications. In addition to giving you all the engine and generator data you need at the push of a button, it also incorporates advanced electrical safety features to protect personnel and equipment at all times.
