a decade of storytelling.S tudents of the World began as an idea conceived by a college student in 1999. The

premise was that the next generation of American leaders would be citizens of America, but also would have to be students of the world.

Students of the World (SOW) is a non-profit media production company that partners with college students to highlight global, social issues and the innovative solutions of those working to address them. We produce powerful documentary-style films, photography and multimedia that highlight the organizations work.

We partner with organizations from around the world that are addressing important global, social issues in ways that are innovative, sustainable and effective. We recruit teams of students from around the country that are highly skilled in filmmaking, editing, photography, journalism and me-dia management. We are currently operating at the University of Michigan, the University of Texas, the University of North Carolina, Duke University, and Harvard University.

We work closely with our creative student teams to produce powerful multimedia content that in-cludes short films, vignettes, photo stories, audio slideshows, written articles and more. With more than 11 years of experience, a full range of professional equipment and the best post-production partners in Austin, we are able to produce professional quality media that is unique, powerful and engaging.
