flowing abroad.
• The aim is to study the reasons why students have to go abroad and to come home. The method is to compare Ukrainian students with Swedish ones and to find out whether there are any differences in the students’ society in two European countries and what they depend on.
• Slightly more students are patriots than non-patriots. No strong difference between Swedish and Ukrainian students.
• There is an uneven distribution of grades, which shows that Swedes are less high-graded than Ukrainians. It could be the case, or it could be an outcome of the Swedish culture in which it is considered to be very impolite to exaggerate yourself.
Do you undertake any actions to support your previous choice?

Yes 81,3% 77,8%

• Swedes work harder and look for more ways to bring their ideas to life. They have also marked more aspects.
• According to the answers, Ukrainians have mostly social reasons to go abroad. At the same time more than a half Swedes ranked “To have fun” and “Getting experience in general” number one.

• There is no difference between Swedes and Ukrainians in this aspect. Nearly like 1/3 from each side thinks that they have no duty towards the country, but at the same time it has a duty to provide them with a good level of life.
• In this aspect students’ choices are different. They depend on the society, on the culture of their country, on personal values. Their choices cross in only one aspect – relatives. Sometimes they are solidary in not-choosing aspects.

• Observations should be made that:1.Sweden still leads (now like a country to settle
down in).2.United States of America and United Kingdom
are very popular among students in both aspects.
• There are not many differences between young people. The differences mainly depend on the evaluation of their country in which Ukrainians are less positive. It is impossible to make people stay by forcing them, but it is possible to do it by building a society for them.
