New Sub-Area

Page 8: Students Choice MRP(Akash) - Copy

Steps to choose sub-area for MRP, for students:

1. Read all the sub-areas in the list.2. Keep the list aside.3. Decide what you want to find-out / study.

6. If it does, mention that sub-area as one of your choices.7. Like this, mention 10 choices, in order.

4. Select a sub-area from the list which you think will enable you to do so.

5. Google the sub-area (at least first 5 pages) to check if you are right. The sub-area does include the things you thought it would.

8. Remember that allotment will be done based on your order of preferences, and the order of preferences given by the faculty members.

9. A faculty member could have given a sub-area which he she has not taught you. For example, a Marketing faculty could have given Investment Banking as one of his areas of interest. So, do not worry about who your guide will be.

10. Follow your heart. Problems will anyway come in research.

11. Last test : If MRP requirement is removed by DAVV, would you still want to do this research.
