Worksheets Module 11 - No.2

Read the text, look at the charts and complete them.

I’m Declan. These are my friends Alan, Kate, Josh and Peter. We are doing a school project about the outdoor activities in our class. Our teacher asked us to prepare a questionnaire. We should count the answers and show the results in a chart. Do you know how to make the questionnaire? It’s really fun. First of all you need to think about the questions you want to ask people. You have to ask the right questions to get the answers you need. When you have all the questions you need to write the possible answers because it is always easier to choose one from the existing than to write your own.

Look at our questionnaire!

We asked 10 pupils to answer our questions. Those pupils were our respondents. Here are the results.

Question 1: 1 kid likes skateboarding, 2 – skating, 5 – riding a bike, 1 – swimming, 1- playing sports. Question 2: 7 kids have got their own bicycles, 1 – hasn’t got, 2 – share one bicycle with others.

Question 3: 5 kids have got their own skateboard or skates, 3 – hasn’t got, 2 – share skates or the skateboard with others. Question 4: 3 kids like playing football, 2 – tennis, 1 – golf, 2 – other sports, 0 – baseball, 2 – don’t like playing sports. Question 5: 5 kids think that outdoor activities are good because of being in fresh air, 3 – because it’s fun, 2 – don’t know why.

Help us to complete the charts.
