• We have some on Reserve• We have some in the general collection• Some are available through OhioLINK• Search the library catalog by title• If nothing comes up, click on the “OhioLINK”

button at the top of the catalog to see if anyone else in Ohio has it and place a request

My roommate is the most annoying creature on earth. Where can I go to study in peace?

• The third floor is a quiet study floor• You can also book a study room in advance on

the Libraries’ Web site

How do I find articles for my research papers?

• You can eat and drink in all areas of Bierce Library.

How do I find books and other materials available in University Libraries?

Do I really have to come to Bierce Library to get help?

• You can get library help online through the KnowItNow service – www.knowitnow.org

• You can get tutoring help online – www.etutoring.org

• You can get Tech support online – www.uakron.edu/support-desk

How do I print at University Libraries?

• Once you are logged in, you will send all of your printing to the network printers

• Swipe your ZipCard on the print release stations and select your print job (indicated by your Uanet ID)

• You will be charged $.05 for BW and $.10 for color printing

Can I print from my laptop?

• Yes• Stop by the Media Tech Services desk and they

will show you how to configure your laptop to print to the network

Can I access University Libraries resources from home?

• Yes• When you access a University Libraries

database from off campus, you will be asked to enter your UAnet ID and password

How do you know all of this?

• I’m a librarian. Librarians are know-it-alls!
