It is not meant to blame anyone, and it does not point to any specific person. These are

suggestions rather than obligations.

After last nights incidence, my first visit on the said group to check some updates about the

campus. In an ambush I got through a strange thing which I saw for the very first time, The

constitution of SSUM. I started studying it, and studied it all. I found a few things quite

strange.

Enlisted below are some suggestions to improve the efficiency of SSUM.

1. The constitution of the SSUM seems to be deliberately copied from some other source,

as clearly reflected from the Second Page of the said Constitution, The Table of

Contents hyperlinks. This takes for inefficiency of the SSUM to constitute its own

building block.

2. The Objectives of the SSUM seems to be generic rather than specific. These need to be

made more specific to calculate the efficiency of the SSUM and to make it more

effective.

3. The General Assembly as constituted in the article IV of the constitution seems

ineffectivesince the establishment of the SSUM. This is the most powerful body of the

SSUM, as stated in the constitution.

4. The Executive Body seems to have completely overthrown the GA, which is not a good

gesture.

5. The President, Vice President, and Speaker should be elected by direct votes of the GA

on One Vote- One Man basis.

President should submit a complete in depth report of the performance of SSUM at the

end of his/her tenure rather than a brief summarized report as stated in clause 6.1.1.5

of the constitution.

The President, Vice President both should have to release their offices after each year .

And new elections should be held for either reinforcing the previous VP as President or

not.

8. The Vice President shall purely be elected, by GA vote, as One Vote-One Man basis

rather than stated in clause 6.1.2.5 of the constitution.

9.

Method for the election of GA members should be clearly mentioned in Article VIII of

the Constitution to avoid misunderstandings.

10.The future of GA members failing to prove the allegations against the Executives must

be mentioned in Clause 12.3 of Article 12 of the constitution.

The position of Chief Advisor should be rather symbolic to ensure autonomy of the

society in terms of decisions, elections etc.
